I love seeing so much love for Taylor on here. I can’t believe people are questioning whether she’s a silence breaker. Fighting back in court is what makes her a silence breaker. Not being afraid to speak her mind in court despite what’s been said about her relationships over the years is what makes her a silence breaker. She gave so many short but powerful answers that challenge so many of our cultural norms. She didn’t sugar coat what happened to her or use the court case to promote herself in any way. She showed women and young girls that they shouldn’t worry about being polite when they’ve been wronged. You don’t need to scream from the rooftops against sexual assault in order to be a silence breaker. Sexual assault is difficult to talk about and people break their silence in different ways. We should respect that.
