A bit oldschool, but: a person having a desperate sneezing fit in a phone booth. They think they are unobserved and really let go, holding a hand over the phone speaker so the person they called doesn't hear the sneezes. But the person outside waiting for the phone booth to be free certainly sees them dissolve into the desperate sneezing fit...

vampire building up to a sneeze, their top lip curling up into a little snarl as the tickle becomes all-encompassing, flashing a little peek of a fanged tooth

i wanna ride shotgun with you and your awful cold. stuck in that small space with nowhere for those germs to go but up my nose. especially with those wet sneezes of yours.

Watching me sneeze totally uncovered because I don’t want to take my hands off the steering wheel.

Breathing in all those germs.

Adjusting the temperature or volume or any buttons in on the dash that I just sneezed all over.

Passing me tissues and then watching as the balls of used tissues are haphazardly dropped across the center console.

You can’t even crack open a window because this cold has me shivering. You’d be stuck next to me as sneeze after sneeze erupts from my nose and fills the small space with more and more of my virus.

Of course I’d apologize once you inevitably caught my cold but you knew you were doomed the minute you chose to sit next to me.

B’s been struggling with stuck sneezes all day and the frustration has grown palpable. They’re beginning to cuss, huff, pout…

“Aww, poor baby! Is your nose being mean to you?” A coos, giving their nose a teasing poke.

It’s teasing, alright… it brings that tickle back from the dead!

“Wait!” B’s eyes light up for a second before they squint back into that pre-sneeze look, “Please! Hh-! Do that again!!”

A couple sneezing, but one has big slow built up sneezes, and the other has immediate sneezes. So until A actually sneezes it goes

A: ahh—

B: chu!

A: ahh!

B: chu

A: stop stealing my sn-sneezes ahh’Tchuh!

office cold snzarios

it seems like every other month, there’s a raging cold wreaking havoc throughout the office i work in, so here are some irl office-based scenarios i’ve seen with my with my own eyes that may be good for fics:

📌 the initial “it’s just allergies i swear”

📌 the eventual “i think i actually am getting sick”

📌 “can you grab me a tea from the breakroom? i probably shouldn’t be around any communal spaces”

📌 the constant race to snatch a tissue out of the box on their desk

📌 them sneezing into said tissue nearly every time (because that’s how predictable of a cold it is)

📌 a consistent chorus of “bless you’s” from everyone in the vicinity

📌 being able to hear the incessant sneezing and honking nose blows from all the way across the office

📌 constantly apologizing (e.g., “sorry i’m sneezing so much,” “ugh i’m so disgusting,” “sorry i’m so gross”)

📌 “i have to sneeze soooo bad”

📌 red, watery eyes with the sneezing

📌 the sick person saying “oh god i hope i don’t get you sick too”

Someone who's basically made this scent their personality~ their house is full of candles with it, every air freshener or perfume they buy is scented of it, they have essential oils of it that they wear in little necklaces, they might even have it growing outside (if it's a scent they can do that with)

And someone who's helplessly in love with them, and hopelessly allergic to that particular scent~

Scenario idea: A sneezes so hard that their glasses slide a little down their nose. Their partner / friend B goes "Bless you!" while pushing A's glasses up their nose again.
