Silent Spirits are a small strain of wandering soul that reside near Hades' Palace, yet are scattered far enough apart that it's rare to find more than one in a specific region. They live up to their name in Hell, cloth tied over their mouths and not uttering a single word. They tend to stay within their homes and wait for people to come to them for any sort of unspoken aid. The Silent Spirirts are a sort of prophet; one could consider them offspring of technopathic souls, as their human incarnations are meant to gather information, though they rely on events instead of study. They can see far into the future, however, then things they see aren't easily altered and are often the true end to any one story line. In their human incarnations, like how technopaths can have a host, they get their own body without that host soul and collect what they need from there. However, these incarnations have notoriously short lifespans, most not even making it past 30 in more modern socities and literally just falling over dead, oftentimes in the morning to be found by others or not. They do not have the same powers and memories of past lives and their prophecies are cut off. It is common, though, for incarnations to slowly remember these memories as they get closer to their time of dying and, as a result, the flood of memories of dozens of lifetimes at their designated time of death can very well be what kills them in the first place. Demons know better than to eat these spirits, because if they do, they see the burden, hatred, sadness, everything that a Silent has to see on a daily basis in their visions and they usually can't take it without having to go on a rampage to take out those emotions on something else. They are silent for a reason. Once upon a time, when they had voices and known merely as Oracles, they were called upon far and wide. However, that was near the beginning of their birth, when time was short and events were few. When worlds began to appear at a rapid pace and the people with them, timelines and endings began streaming into their visions and they were overloaded with the information. They began to scream and from there, sealing cloths were tied over their mouths to take away their voices and stem the flow of visions just enough for the suffering to be dulled down. That should be it?
