No, no—this had to be some manner of machinery, devilry such as the things he’d seen at the amusement parks where people gleefully flocked to board those awful frightening rides, the wave railways, as they’d been baptised in his language, terrifying inventions the longer he had studied them all from afar.

“Oh my god,” he whispered only, the back of his fingers covering his parted lips as vampire’s eyes remained fixated upon the creature like some unreal, hypnotising horror. You’d think by now he’d be accustomed to the supernatural; instead he sees the stick rising to poke at this alien thing and the reaction is immediate, his soft voice tight with a sense of urgency: “Oh my god, no, don’t touch it—” And unthinkingly he’d find himself reaching for the other, grasping his coat as if to tug him back though without exerting any force at all beyond the tentative hold of his fingers. His countenance held a look of innocence, a wondering blink of his eyes just as he turned to search for the stranger’s gaze. “Do you know what that is?”

ooc: He is not one to instigate a fight for he is much more confident articulately. But yes, a while back Armand made an inappropriate, ill-timed comment and Everard struck him across the face. Must have felt nice with all those rings.Oh, and he might have set Allesandra on fire.

At the very second Mojo recognize his only-looking-puppy-like friend's voice, he ran to greet him! He barked joyfully, jumping all around the biped, yelping softly in sheer happiness. It has been a while since he saw him!

Good boys weren't supposed to lick bipeds, but Mojo couldn't help to cautiously let his long tongue lapping at his friend's strange-paw.

Before he could even ask the youth, he had brought out what it was he was hiding. And asked him to break it. Emerald’s seemed unsure, and he chanced a lean to inspect the chains further. Something of this matter was really none of his business, would have been best to walk away. The kindness in Felix won however, and he took a grip on the cuffs. With just enough force he squeezed to crack the metal open, shifting back and letting go so the broken restraint could fall on the ground between them. Hands came back to rest at his sides.

“What a nasty piece. No creature should be in chains, I apologize for my earlier hesitation.” With the toe of his shoe, he moved the discarded item to the side. Looking again to the brunette he frowned, no unable to hold back the questions, “Tell me. Why were you restrained so? Appearance is not everything... But you do not look exactly the type that deserves to be held in sucha  way.”
