So, let me start off by saying that these gloves are some of the most flexible oven gloves that I have ever used, and they are very heat resistant. The only time I felt any problematic heat at all was when I was holding something that had been cooked at 425F for a decent amount of time, because I had to wait for space to be cleared to set it down. Otherwise I have had no problems pulling things out of the over, or with hot pot handles, and I am very sensitive to heat. The baking mat for this item is also excellent, but as stated you only get one. We used the baking mat several times, and each time the cookies came off of them with no trouble at all. After several uses, you can see a bit of residue from certain angles, but overall it was very clean and still perfectly non-stick. I would highly recommend this product to anyone, it is wonderful and I am very glad I got the chance to review this item!
