Romani would receive a long sigh from Adelha for her to shake her head. The kitten reaching out to gently tug on Romani’s glove in an attempt to get the doctor to pet her. The kitten mewing playfully. While Adelha moves to kneel down and give Romani a kiss on the cheek. “Silly Romani. It’s almost time for dinner and well past time for you to stop working. So we are going to insist that you cease and desist working this instant.”

Adelha leans back to gently tap Romani on the nose for her to smile at him. That smile holding warmth and fondness as she chuckles at him. “Would you be willing to join a kitten princess and her mother hen of a human for dinner? Archer decides to spoil Chaldea with several seafood dishes. With the added luxury of honey cake for dessert. Does that sound good to you?”

“Why?!” Jin Ling didn’t sound happy about this at all. Of course he was familiar with pictures and the concept behind it but this didn’t mean he had to like it. Apparently one had to stand still for it to turn out nicely. But since he refused to have a picture taking he was moving around like a small child. 

It felt like a threat, something about a simple picture did make him feel somewhat threatened. Not that Roman ever tried to hurt him but this is something he does not know from his own era. Back then people used to create paintings and sketches of people to remember a moment or a loved one. He did not have many paintings back then, only those necessary to decorate the halls. Maybe he had some more hidden inside his private chambers but still, it was something different. Besides, he did not know the reason behind it yet.

And so instead of moving around restlessly he decided it would be better to invade Roman’s personal space. He thought the logic of being close to avoid a picture being taken made sense and so he did what he was familiar with and hid behind the other. He used to do things like this when he hid from one uncle, always hiding behind the other uncle. They were as different as night and day. 

“Why do you want to take one?” Jin Ling asked, peeking out from behind. He couldn’t deny that there’s a little curiosity about it despite being so unwilling. “What’s it for?”

Had Nix eaten yet that day? No, but it wasn’t going to stop her from latching onto Romani’s side. She could always attempt it later right?

    With things being quiet at the moment, Mashiro took that down time to help out the staff members with various things. Whether it be with paperwork, cleaning or just simply spending time with the younger Servants. 

    Once most of the tasks were completed, the young mage took a few moments to herself and made some coffee. Looking down at the mug, she decided to pour another mug and grabbed a couple slices of strawberry cake for a certain doctor. With tray in hand, Mashiro knocked on the steel door to his office. “Dr. Romani? May I come in?”

“doctor....” ritsuka begins, clenching her fist as she tries to keep her frustration from pouring out. “.... beryl, he..... he hasn’t been bothering you lately has he?” with the crypter’s obsession with mash, it was a given he was going to bother her. however, the one person she was the most worried about was the man in front of her. not just due to his role as mash’s caretaker, but due to the apparent hostility the wolfish man seemed to have against him.
