One month ago exactly out lives turned upside down. One month ago around this time I had the last chat with my aunt. And then in the evening get a call from her colleague that she had a cardiac arrest. I couldn't believe that it had happened. They were able to resustitate her but she never regained consciousness. All of this happened in London. We were so far and couldn't see her. We hadn't spoken on call except for the text messages.
She was in a major dilemma whether to go or not. It was I who assured her saying I would take care of my grandmother. She was worried about her health too . What if I had stopped her ? What if its all my fault?
No matter how practical we get these questions will remain unanswered forever. I don't know how I got the strength to even continue this far but I don't know how long I can go on.
I am scared. It was her job to take care of the family. She was the doctor and the face of the family. I am not ready to take care of these things. I am no Doctor dependable.
Because I felt comfortable and carefree that night .
