Tldr: Eventually SM does go from wanting to maul PV to "tolerating" him, with both not really becoming friends but more so agreeing to disagree on 99% of things lmao.

Also one of his bindings breaks giving him part of his power back at one point in the story, but it's cool since he's not interested in his empire of lies no more. Instead he figured what he wants to do is just have fun and mess around, how? By being craaazy obnoxious, of course! He's not exactly "dangerous" or as malicious as he was anymore but not that different either. Neither a hero or villain, just a "wild card" who likes to annoy PV and others from time to time.
