concepts from several months ago! sentient virus-y guys called the inevitable that completely overtake the bodies of other sapients they touch, and absorb them into their clonemind clans. they require consuming organics to survive and have been sweeping the galaxy recently. its been a huge problem and everyone is scared of them

a group named Silph lands on the home planet of some fairly medically advanced bunnyguys and turns out they share a root language. the bunnies tell Silph they are ravaging and hurting -people- and theyre emotionally broken as it sinks in. after isolating and effectively starving itself, the bunnies convince the Silph clan that they need to find a coexistence solution. top researchers work with cloning technology and eventually have breakthroughs with takeover-resistant clothing and integration vaccinations

somewhere along the way another inevitable clan appears, Frauser, and though he's convinced to join the movement, more inevtiable clans start cropping up as the horde closes in. Frauser is aggressive and warlike compared to the intellectual, empathetic Silph and his clan acts as a defensive force.

every inevitable clan has a "prime" that is their leader and memory keeper. as virulic copies of each other, they all think similarly; not quite a hivemind but they dont have individuality - something that changes as they join bunny society and each body is treated separately. individuals of each inevitable clan can make and maintain their own lives and relationships and its a positive thing for them! they still meet as local clans and rejoin the prime as funerary rites when they feel their time is done (the bunnies are mortal and dont live super long)

Silphs especially make a lot of close friends and partners of bunnyfolk. Frausers remain impartial peacekeepers, Orange never splits into a clan but the individual dates a lab hybrid, etc etc.

anyway. the bunnies' "its compassion or die" attitude saves the rest of the galaxy as they become a hub for inevitables!! i'll leave u with daddy daughter naptime 💖

Unlike apricorn balls and models offered by competing companies, Silph’s pokéballs never wear down. This efficiency comes from the uniqueness of the design. When a pokémon is transferred into a pokéball, the transformation releases infinity energy, just as forms of evolution do. Silph’s pokéballs differ from most in that they harness that released energy and use it to fuel subsequent transformations, creating harmony between the tech’s purpose and its power source. The means to create this technology are closely guarded - while companies like Devon do sell lifelong pokéballs, they receive the stock from Silph, which gets a cut of the profits. 

Some trainers worry about Silph’s monopoly over the market; this attitude led to a resurgence of ‘traditional’ pokéballs several years back, with apricorns in particular coming back into vogue. However, in the battle industy, Silph’s products are synonymous with professionalism. It’s hard to get a foot on the ladder if you avoid them.
