I keep head-canon’ing Silver correcting Daniel’s posture, standing too close then one day ‘realizing’, stutters an apology and sends Daniel on his way. Daniel doesn’t leave, says he’s from Newark so he’s not afraid of a gay guy nor is he worried about getting changed in front of him and knows that gay guys can touch in a non-sexual way, they’re good.

Silver makes himself teary and thanks Daniel for his compassion.

Then he asks him how he knows he’s gay. Daniel says it’s just little things he’s said but it’s just the same as a straight guy so why worry about it.

Silver ‘gets drunk’ one night and Daniel ‘finds him’ so takes him home.
