An edit I made about the Silvae Lupus, a kind of wolf I invented in the story of Ludmila.
“ The Silvae Lupus — "Wolves of the Forest, of the Wild" — are a particular species of werewolves that evolved closely with the forests of Eastgard, descended directly from the Wolf Goddess. Not surprisingly, the same probably started this species, infecting previous humans through the bite and bacterial saliva. Totally devoting themselves to the animal side, the Silvae Lupus are creatures that have abandoned all ties to the human world. Their appearance is chimerical, as they appear to have a pair of antlers, typical deer horns, in both male and female subjects. This highlights their bond with the Deer God.
They are large wolves, almost similar to those of an adult male bear, often quadrupeds — Their paws are generally plantigrade during bipedal movement and digitigrade while on all fours; The color of the fur is not characteristic, as it can vary from different coats, also found in the other species. Like the whole family of wolves, Silvae Lupus also have a double layer of hair, useful for defending themselves from humidity and cold; The tail is long, bushy like the rest of the hair, due to the lengthening of the coccyx; Since it is a new species, there is not much information about their behavior in nature: It is certain, however, that they are territorial, and they defend the forests from hostile presences, especially humans. They communicate through howls and growls — as wolves, however, they are unable to bark; Their pack is more similar to that of ordinary wolves, as they behave like a large family, with a matriarchal hierarchy.
Among all, a female subject stands out, of larger dimensions, whose antlers are larger than the others. The coloring of the hair is greyish, more present in the particular crown of hair around the neck; A gold-colored pendant hangs from a bracelet of the same color wrapped around the animal's left leg. We are not sure of the origin of the jewel; Two scars disfigure her muzzle, probably wounded by a white weapon.
It is certain that this subject is at the head of the small herd formed, stronger and more aggressive than its kind, recognized as the feared Goddess Wolf guarding the forests of Eastgard.
Why do Silvae Lupus symbolically possess deer antlers? Due to the periodic renewal of the boxes, which are also compared to the branches of trees, these take on an allegorical value of development and union between the superior and inferior forces. Hence they stand as a symbol of longevity and the cycle of successive rebirths. ”
