Mai Zenin Acrylic Keychain Hanami Manufacturer: Yomiuri TV Enterprise
first of all, fully aware the background should have been sakura in spring season, but hey… Im a total summer guy :3
this shot must be the most memorable to me… not really because of that acrylic keychain, I might even say that would be one of the most common Mai Zenin acrylic keychain you can find in any 2nd hand store, lmao! but then again, the story behind might be more interesting
took that shot in the Kinkakuji or Silver temple near my family house back in Kyoto, I ALWAYS go there whenever visiting Kyoto, whether for prayer or just snapping some pics… yet this is the very first time I brought a figure (or maybe just merchandise) to snap on top of that mountain.. while doing so.. all of a sudden, a very nice (short haired) girl came to me, and offered “do you need me to snap a picture of you in front of the temple?” in English…. was totally embarrassed, didn’t even noticed the girl got out of her tour group (or maybe family), and was watching me taking that picture all that time, lmao!!! kinda panicking, then explaining i’m living in the area and regularly go there, so no need to take my ugly mug in front of the touristy temple, ahahahah.. yet weirdly, that girl said “since you look… lonely and gloomy, and was seems to be super emotional when taking that keychain picture. maybe you just need a Friend around here, you care to join me?”… BRUH… how… how did she know that… seriously, I was in totally messed up emotional condition during that photo shot..
was a super memorable encountered nonetheless, I havent even catch her name, but just based on her accent, pretty sure she’s from Eastern Europe area… maybe, I should have taken her offer at that time, hahah.. but at that time I was super obsessed of taking Mai Zenin stuff in Kyoto to represent my true loose during that trip, haha, crazy stupid huh? yeee, Im THAT stupid IRL
bringing her back 3/5
