An update on all the suits I got during this giant month or two of mega events. This is the most money I've put on this god forsaken game ever in my life.

I have a bunch of suits near completion where all I need is enough star coins for the patterns, and I got enough to finish this one today! I love the birds very much.

Lone Valentine/Silver Wish~ Complete Sets

cowherd and weaver girl (for Love Nikki?)

so I was picking through Cloud Valentine sets and immediately I saw in one description "the cowherd and weaver girl"

so idk, I felt like maybe talking about the myth might be nice uwu

I'm going to give a very brief summary since when I asked my dad about it he gave me a summary

ok!! once upon a time there was a weaver girl. the weaver girl is from heaven.

one day while on Earth she meets a cowherd and they fall in love. however, this displeases the gods above in heaven, since weaver girl is a goddess and should not be falling in love with mortals.

so, as punishment, they take her away back into heaven. the cowherd becomes angry and heartbroken that she's gone, and so the gods say, "If you love each other that much, we'll give you a day where you can meet up once." (that day is 7/7 according to the myth)

so on that day ever year magpies will build a bridge so the lovers can meet. that's why in the set silver wish you can see magpies. it's for that reason.

after they both died they became stars (they're called cowherd star and weaver girl star respectively in mandarin. not too sure of its English translation). there's a rift between the two and that's said to be the Milky Way.

on 7/7, the two stars meet up and that is said to be the cowherd and weaver girl meeting up in their once a year meeting.

it's one of those love stories that is sort of sad but has a slightly happy ending. they can at least still see each other.
