Bayou -BETA-
Twinbrook is one of my favorite Sims worlds, and while watching True Detective, I was inspired to make my own swampy, foggy delta world to play in. The result is Bayou.
What I discovered, much to my chagrin, is that the game does not handle myriad small lakes very well. I tried and tried to make the routing work in Bayou, but Sims would still get stuck and leave their boats everywhere. However, Twallan’s Overwatch and Master Controller allow me to play Bayou without any major problems.
If you want to play Bayou, you ABSOLUTELY MUST use Overwatch. That is why this world will always be considered beta.
Since I made Bayou for my own entertainment, I only built a few new houses. I re-used a lot of the Twinbrook shacks and one of the larger houses. The world has plenty of unbuilt lots for you to add your own houses, and, as always, I recommend bulldozing and building whatever makes the world fun for you.
It’s a large map and has items from all EPs. The diner is from Barnacle Bay and a couple other rabbitholes are from Midnight Hollow and will be missing if you don’t have those towns. There are a few extraneous items from Town Life and Outdoor Living and the other store towns, but those will be replaced by the game if you don’t have them.
