I had ramen for the first time since the lockdown started. It was on my birthday last month and we went to #SilverlakeRamen at the Santa Monica Promenade. I missed it so super much, you have no idea. • Today is #worldmentalhealthday. I admit, I haven't been in the best of conditions lately, both physically and mentally. I've tried distracting myself, even overplaying and overworking. There are some days when I thought I was getting better only to fall further down the hole I fell in. I'm overthinking; I feel hopeless; I'm letting it get to me. • For a while, I was better. I got a package a few days ago and that lifted my spirits up a bit. Sure, I'm better than I was a few days ago but I'm still not a hundred percent. And that's okay. One day at a time, right? (Aaand I have two more packages waiting to be sent so two more chances for instant - and expensive lol - gratification haha.) • I'm still a work in progress. I still cry from the stress only to bounce back after a good cry. I need the space just to be with myself. I'll be okay. A smile a day is a win.
