Here is my Monday/Wednesday pen case! • Having all the #IDOLish7 x Pentel i+ pen bodies means I can cycle through my favorite boys. They only take Sliccies, Vicuña, and Energel refills but that's okay. Multipens are so convenient. Also, I love ergonomic pen and pencil bodies. My Dr. Grip has a .38mm G-tec refill. The S-gel body says. 7mm but I switched that one out too. My MVP is the Uni Alpha Gel body. What's in my *Thursday* pen case? • I have a crazy schedule this fine Spring 2023 term that I have a MW version and a Thursday version. And even so, I tend to switch things up... usually the black pens. I'm currently experimenting with ergonomic grips and moving refills around. The Sharpie S-Gel .38mm is my favorite but I don't think it works well with the pen body I just received (Pilot Dr. Grip) so Pilot G-2 .38mm to the rescue! Any other suggestions? • Also, it's #IDOLiSH7 themed. First con of 2023! Thank you, @animeimpulse. • We might have skipped a year or two but we've been going to this con since the very first one. It's together with the Asian American Expo so after all the anime goodness, we get to enjoy all the samples AND picking up boxes of Mi-Goreng lol. • I honestly wasn't even planning to go... until guests were announced! I noticed that as the years pass, my con-going habits change. Before, I'd go with absolutely no plans. Now, I attend with more purpose - that being meeting favorite voice actors and artists. #animeimpulse 2023 satisfied both of those. • I was finally able to meet one of my favorite voices ever, Jonah Scott, who voiced Randy Orlando from the Trails series, Kojiro Nanjo from Sk8, and Akihiko from Given. Also met Howard Wang who was Langa. His *Canadian* "sorry" is the most adorable sound ever. I started watching artist alley vlogs lately and one of them was Ashley from Le Spirit Designs. I was glad to pick up an adorable Periwinkle tote from her before they packed up. 2022 was a wild one! • I finished 20 projects this year, not counting doubles. I gave away 4 of them as gifts or commissioned pieces. I made one blanket and my first ever garment! • This year was the year of "big" projects, both in amigurumi and my personal life. But staying with the #artvsartist theme, I finally braved trying @picapauyan patterns and toys from the anime of the year, @spyfamily_official, patterns by @medaami. The Oikawa cushion by @croche_nka was the perfect one to close out the year because Haikyuu amigurumi is where my love of yarn restarted. • I find it ironic that I chose that picture in the middle. I was at one of my lowest moments all year and yet, that's when I felt the prettiest. • Next year, I have a set of Given amigurumi patterns to try. I'm also looking forward to make another cardigan. A blanket to start the year maybe? And probably entertain the idea of commissions?
