Silvermont Maps and General Updates
So, I’ve been slowly mapping out Silvermont. I’ve also been trying to post screenshots, but I think there’s something up with my computer, because it won’t let me upload any screenshots or pictures, even if I try to upload them to imgur first. I’ll probably upload them to Google Drive and make those particular docs public. Or something.
Anyway, I haven’t posted any pantheon profiles yet because I’ve been working on the maps. Right now I’m putting together a little town called Wyvernport. I’ve been using Chaotic Shiny’s map generators as the base, and then tweaking from there--sometimes lightly, sometimes heavily. And drinking tea the entire time, which means I’ve run out D:
Because of how much I’ve liked the map generator, I’m considering using it to make a general map of Forrester as well, and then placing my pre-made towns accordingly.
I’ve been trying to come up with a decent idea for a trainer!Kakashi fic, but I’m having a hard time of it so far. I don’t know much about Kakashi, and even with almighty RESEARCH I’m not finding much, especially since I don’t want to place it in the Naruto world.
I’ve been watching and reading Angelic Layer as well, thinking about writing an OC-centered fic for it. This is actually an idea I’ve had since last summer, but I dropped it at the time.
The DMA remake has been going slowly. Still researching. Trying to make it a little more original than “Let’s go get badges!” Nothing against those types of stories, I just want to put a twist on it. If you were born into politics, what would you do if something happened to make you reject that life? It’s going to take some exploration of character, which I’ll be doing--and posting.
As for my new-found fascination with rock climbing and my goal to try it, I’m thinking about making a separate blog for my fitness-related stuff, since this blog is mostly geared towards writing. If I do, it’ll probably have a bit more structure than this one.
So yeah, that’s what’s going on. Thoughts?
