in 2024 we had #silverstreakshippingweek in early august. last year I thought about hosting a new one and conferred with our server, but dropped the ball in typical lin fashion lmao. I'd like to have one this year the first week of august, the time period of the first one! what do we think?

I can't describe what more aokabu in masters means to me, but I'll try. it's so funny that every time there's a larry-centric event, kabu shows up to hang out with him. this latest one at the hot springs is especially good with flannery present, representing hoenn's hotspot (:3c) and summoning kabu to bask in homeland nostalgia. they didn't have to do that, but I'm happy they did.

I've said it before but dropping a crackship for kabu in june 2024 was perfect timing from the universe for me. literally a year later we got the alola fair costume event with larry's vacation getup and a kabu cameo. now, 11 months after that, they're going on a hot springs date. I think dena is doing this on purpose.

as we head into silverstreak year 3 I swear I'll celebrate them all summer long. I've slowly been climbing out of my depressive funk and making stuff again here and there. I just... have to give back a fraction of what aokabu gave me. even if it's only for me and my sentimental heart. they saved it, after all.

also my yume/oc ship with kabu played a big part in keeping me going, but you're not here for that are you (ok a couple people are :)
