Look what I got for Christmas!

I’ve been (sort of) collecting some graphic novels of my favorite franchises base on books lately. I already have Watership Down and Redwall and now I have Silverwing! Here’s some highlights!

I don remember much about the book (I mean that was ten years ago so yeah) but I think it captures it well. Look at these designs!!

Also what is going on with Scirocco?! He looks like Nikodemus from Secret of Nimh but it kinda fits him in a ‘cult leaderish way’(?).

I especially love the transformation panels. It really makes the process of a bat turning human (although made up) seem like a painful and terrifying process. Like, how is that concept not body horror??

And Brutus, Remus, and Goth are pretty scary looking here! Jeez, Remus looks more monstrous than Romulus and Goth? Sheesh! Compared to how he looks in the animated series, he went from Gaston to an unholy force of nature!
