Bria: Hello there, my wonderful son!

Gianni: Hey, mom. What are you up to?

Bria: Working, as always. You?

Gianni: Same. Royal stuff or KBE stuff?

Bria excited: KBE stuff! Kali's showing me some of her design ideas then I have a conference meeting with the team. How about you? What Ravikumar businesses are you focusing on today?

Gianni: Who knows? A little bit of everything. I'm working from home today, at least.

Bria: Well, that's good. Perks of being the boss, right?

Gianni chuckles: Right. There's something.

Bria: How's Jennifer?

Gianni: She's doing okay. She's not loving her job right now, but not really sure what else she would do. So, that's been heavy on her mind lately.

Bria: Aw, she'll figure it out. At least she has a lot of options.

Gianni: Yeah, I've been telling her try everything she wants.

Bria: Wow, who would have thought my son would be such a great husband?

Gianni: Yeah, yeah. How's everyone there? What was up with those photos of Gray and Elle in the group chat?

Bria: Oh, gosh. It's a long story. But basically, this shady organization said some crazy stuff to Rose at an event, so I had Ella and Grayson go check them out.

Gianni: What, you guys are detectives now? Don't you have people for that?

Bria laughs: Yeah, well. You can't trust anybody around here. Your siblings found a royal advisor to the Queen there, so it's even shadier than I thought.

Gianni: Oh, wow. What is this organization?

Bria: It's called The Jacoban Church of the Vengeful Watcher. But they are not affiliated with the official Jacoban church we attend.

Gianni: I still can't believe you go to church now. Woah, wait. Now, that I think about it, I actually think I know someone who was a part of that church.

Bria: Wait, really?

Gianni: Yeah, my old assistant, Penelope. I remember her talking about it a long time ago. She was saying she basically fled a cult, moved to Del Sol and I'm pretty sure that was the name of it.

Bria: I see. Get me that girl's contact info. I definitely need to talk to her.

Gianni: Will do.

Bria: Okay, honey. I'll let you go. Say hi to Jennifer for me!

Gianni: I will. Bye, Mom. Talk to you later.

Gianni somber: Thank you all for coming. I'd like to say a few words.

Gianni: I wish I could stand here today and say what an honorable man my father was. I wish I could say that we had the best relationship and that my siblings and I could say he was someone we looked up to. I really wish I could say those things but unfortunately, that's not our reality.

Gianni: To know my father is to know that he had a lot of faults. I mean, he died in prison after being sentenced to 20 years, for senseless crimes that affected everyone around him. As his son, he made it impossible to stick beside him. It took him finally paying for his crimes to start taking accountability for any of his actions. Talk about frustrating.

Gianni: Even though my dad left behind some complicated relationships with each one of us, I am forever grateful for the brothers he gave me. Grayson was nothing like my dad. Every trait he possessed was good-natured. He was the first of us to forgive him. He's a stand-up man and husband. My younger brother's Guy and Garrett are two of the coolest kids you'll ever meet. Understandably, Guy didn't want to be here today. The way those two stand by their mom, how they excel in school, I'm just really proud.

Gianni: So, when I was asked to speak on behalf of my brothers, I thought about how difficult it would be to talk positively about my dad. But while it's not the cleanest, he does have a pretty great legacy he's leaving behind. While I wish things could've been different, I wouldn't change a thing about who I get to call my family and that's in part to my dad. May he rest in peace.

As usual, here's some gameplay shenanigans as well. Had everyone stay in a Selvadorada Rental while they were in town for the funeral. Gave the girls a chance to get to know the younger brothers!

Gianni sighs: It went well, I think. I just spoke the truth.

Bria: Well, that's good. That's all you can do, honey. I'm proud of you for even agreeing to do it.

Gianni: Thanks. If it wasn't for Grayson, I probably wouldn't have. Man's all about closure.

Bria: Yeah. He's right, though. Hopefully, this will help you move on from all the crap your dad caused.

Gianni: Yeah, I think it will. At least for most of us. Guy didn't show up to the funeral.

Bria: Really? Hmm. Well, I wouldn't worry too much about it. You all will deal with this in your own way.

Gianni: Yeah, you're right. I plan on inviting him back to the rental. Just to make sure he's alright.

Bria: That's a great idea, honey. He's lucky to have you as a brother.

Gianni: Well, I don't want to keep you. I'm sure you've got a busy day.

Bria: Yeah... certainly an interesting day. Alright, I'll talk to you later, honey. Tell everyone I said hi.

Dennis Sr: I hope after this nice dinner, we have time to catch the big game.

Gianni: I don't know, Mr. Brown. Quarks vs Thunders? Can our friendship withstand such a match up?

Dennis Sr laughs: I can promise to keep the trash talk to a minimum. But only because I like you.

Gianni: I'm honored, sir.

Dennis Jr: Yeah, not me. I don't care how long I live in the Valley, I'm a Brindleton Bay Thunders fan all the way.

Rainbow: Can we have one dinner without it turning into sports talk?

Jennifer chuckles: Somehow, I doubt that.

Rainbow: Let's talk about something more interesting. How are you two doing? Do you love living in this ridiculously large house, Jenny?

Jennifer sighs: Back to those Thunders...

Rainbow: What? Fine, Gianni. Here's something I've been meaning to ask you. What do you think of Jennifer's tattoos?

Gianni: Her tattoos?

Rainbow: Yes! I'm so curious. You know, we didn't raise them to draw all over their bodies. But Jennifer had a little phase and now the girl's covered.

Jennifer: What? I don't even have that many!

Gianni: I like them. They're all really nicely done and she has a nice story or meaning behind each one. I think that's cool.

Rainbow: Oh, okay. Well, that's good. Still happy at least one of our kids is tattoo-less.

Dennis Jr nervous: Heh, right.

Jennifer: Why don't we focus on DJ the Tattooless and his little girlfriend?

Rainbow curious: Girlfriend?

Dennis Jr: I have no idea what she's talking about.

Jennifer: Sure.

Gianni: Jen, I think Xena needs to be let out. Do you mind?

Jennifer chuckles: I'll take any excuse to be excused right now.

Gianni whispers: Well, fam. I want to thank you all for coming, but I have an ulterior motive for why I had Jennifer invite you.

Dennis Sr: Do you know? What's on your mind, Son?

Rainbow: Hmm. This should be good.

Gianni: Well, you all know that I love Jennifer. She's honestly the best thing that's ever happened to me and our relationship has been progressing so well that I think it's ready for the next step. So... I'd like to ask you for your blessing to marry your daughter.

Dennis Jr: Woah. That's awesome, man!

Dennis Sr: Well, this is exciting news. Right, honey?

Rainbow: You want to marry our daughter?

Gianni: Yes.

Rainbow: Marry Jennifer?

Gianni: Yes...

Rainbow: Well, that's great news!

Gianni: Really?

Rainbow: Of course! My little girl is getting married! I mean, you have my blessing. Right, Dennis?

Dennis Sr: Yes, of course! You're already like family. I'd be happy to call you, son in law!

Gianni relieved: Whew! I am glad to hear that!

Dennis Sr: So, when is this all happening, son?

Gianni: The proposal? Well, I mean, we're all here and I can't think of a better way to propose that she'd actually like and not think was insanely over the top. So, I was thinking right here tonight.

Rainbow: Oh, Watcher! How exciting! I love that idea.

Dennis Jr: So will Jennifer. Congrats, man! Oh, snap. Here she comes!
