[Paolo:] I live in an old factory in Windenburg. I have three roommates. They're cool. Jade; she's kinda the ring-leader. Most mature, according to her. Eva's sweet. She's just a lovebug, you know? She's the best. Then Marcus, of course. Super sociable. He's got, like, a million friends. Everyone likes him. I like living here. I mean, yeah, it's not easy. It's def taught me the value of money, but at least I'm going whatever I want. [Offscreen:] What do you want to do? [Paolo:] You know. Party and stuff.

Eva: So I went to the OBGYN again.

Marcus: A checkup so soon?

Eva: No, uhm, Jade and I were talking and we came to the conclusion that I might have the IP gene.

Marcus: Really, thats great, do you?

Eva: The results said I did but is it really a good thing?

Marcus: Eva, do you know how many same-sex relationships would kill for one of the people involved to have that gene? Its semi-rare with some people actually having the gene but finding no use for it because they are in opposite- sex raltionships. 

Eva: Oh, I can see that. I would be upset if I wanted kids but couldn’t have them. I mean adoption is a possibility too, so many kids that need help.

Marcus: That’s true, so did Jade go with you for support or for another reason?

Eva:  Jade said I could share the news so yeah she went to confirm her pregnancy.

Marcus: Oh, so that’s why you were in a hurry to get the results. Is she alright?

Eva: She is taking it slowly.They can’t do any testing right now but it could be my baby.

Marcus: Are you okay?

Eva: Yeah, I mean peanut getting a sibling so soon was not in the plan but i would love melon the same if it turns out it is mine. If not well, as Auntie Eva I would love them too.

Marcus: Peanut and Melon, really?

Eva: Well, we don’t know their gender yet so. 

         Are you upset with me?

[Marcus takes Eva’s hands]

Marcus: No, it happened because of a medical condition that you weren’t even told about plus its not my duty to care about who you are romantically involved with. My priority is being a good father and a good friend. 

Eva: Why can’t more people be like you?

Marcus: Because then we would all be named Marcus and we would be the same as Bobs.

Eva: I have been so tired lately.

Marcus: Cranky too.

Eva: What, I havent been cranky!

Marcus: Eva, you came home and slammed the door to your room. You are wearing pijamas and its barely 4′oclock.

Eva: Imply its my time of the month and i will smack you!

Marcus: I know it isn’t. We have a calendar, so we can avoid all jokes and constantly shower you and Jade with chocolate in exchange for mercy.

Eva: Oh yeah, I forgot about that.

Eva: Wait, this says I was supposed to have it like a week ago.

Marcus: Duh! What did you think the basket full of chocolate in your room appeared magically?

Eva: No, I just thought Jade had shared some from her stash

Marcus: She has a stash? Nevermind, is it normal for it to be late?

Eva: Yeah, it is never a solid date, it can vary. If it gets worse I’ll call my OBGYN.

Marcus: The lady doctor?

Eva: Yes Marcus the lady doctor.

Jade: So what did you do today, apart from the obvious?

Marcus: Well I met some new people and spent some time with Ev.

Jade: Lucky, I got stuck at the copy machine and had to do what Roger wanted all day long.

Marcus: Isnt Roger the one that smells like wet socks?

Jade: Yeah, he tries to hide it but cologne can only do so much.

Marcus: Don’t worry about him, you will get promoted soon. I hope I can find a job soon, I want to actually do my part and pay rent.

Jade: You will, maybe Paolo can put in a good word for you.
