Note:
So I got inspired to write this short scene while I was cleaning up my childhood photos and found a picture of me and my brother when we were kids. He has a lot of bald patches on his head because 7-year-old Nina thought it was a good idea to play “barber” with her 4-year-old brother. Suffice to say, after that incident, scissors are kept hidden to avoid the same thing from happening again lol. I think that this shit is something Charlie and Eddy would do and this can be an excuse for me to show how the side fam’s life is 😂 Also, I thought that this is one way to introduce BelleMery’s youngest child and the baby of the family. Say hi to baby Camille, everyone! ^^
The Gale House, Ahtolia (4:56pm)
Emery: The twins are oddly quiet today. Where are they?
Belle: Upstairs, watching TV in their room.
Emery: Is Camie with them too?
Belle: Mhm. She wants to play with her brothers.
Emery: I don’t hear her crying, so...that’s a good sign, right?
Belle: Don’t jinx it. You know how the boys are.
Emery: *chuckles* A man can dream. I’ll be back in an hour. Morgie’s doing her school project at Sofia’s.
Belle: Alright. Be safe.
Meanwhile...
Camille: Come on, Charlie! I wanna play!
Charles: I don’t know, Camie.
Camille: Please? Pretty please?
Edward: Camie…Playing dress up is for girls, not for boys.
Camille: Mommy said boys can play too!
Charlie: But—
Camille: Please? If you say yes, I’ll like you more than Eddy.
Charles: R-really?
Edward: But I thought I was your favorite!
Camille: Eddy don’t wanna play with me, I like Charlie more now.
Charles: Okay, come on, Camie. Let’s play.
Camille: Yay!
Edward: Tch. She only likes you for now. But she likes me better. I know it.
Charles: Are you jealous? Too bad.
Edward: I’m not jealous! Camie, I’m still your favorite right?
Camille: No. Charlie, let’s play now!
Charles: Okay! You want to be Princess Poppy right?
Camille: Mhm! She’s pretty!
Charles: Alright, let’s make you look like her.
Edward: What are you doing?
Charles: Princess Poppy has short hair, right? Camie wants to look like her.
Edward: Mom’s going to kill us if you do it.
Charles: Relax. I won’t actually cut her hair. We’re just playing pretend.
Edward: I don’t like where this is going.
Charles: See? That’s why she doesn’t like you anymore, you’re not fun like me. Right, Camie?
Camille: Yeah! Eddy not fun.
Edward: I-I can be fun! Go on, Charlie, make her look like Poppy!
Charles: Uh-oh.
Edward: Uh-oh? What— Oh my god!
Charles: W-wait, I can fix this! Stay still, Camie.
Belle: Finally...Some peace in this house—
[Camille cries in a distance]
Belle: *sighs* I spoke too soon.
Charles (in the background): No, no. Shh, Camie, don’t cry!
Edward: It’s okay Camie, it’s going to grow back. I swear!
Camille: *sobbing* Mommy...
Belle: Charlie, Eddy, why is Camie crying? What did you do to her?
Charles: O-oh, hi mom! W-what are you doing here?
Camille: *sobbing* Mommy...My hair...
Belle: Charles Maxwell Albert Frederick and Anthony Edward Thomas Frederick, care to explain to me why your sister’s hair is all over the carpet?
Edward: W-we didn’t do anything. We swear!
Belle: Then why is your sister’s hair this short? What have you done?!
Edward: It was an accident! We didn’t do it on purpose!
Camille: *crying* Charlie said he was going to make me look like Princess Poppy.
Charles: Camie!
Belle: Oh god…You wait until your dad gets home. You’re both in big trouble!
Emery: So, how was the project? Was it easy?
Morgana: Yeah. Hugo did most of the work, though. He kept on rambling about the stars and the planets and whatever. I only got to help a little.
Emery: Maybe next time you can ask him to let you to chip in—
Belle: Em, look what your sons did to Camie.
Emery: Camie? What— Oh lord. Boys, you cut her hair?!
Charles & Edward: It was an accident! We swear!
Belle: Shh Camie...it’s okay. Come on, let mommy clean you up, alright? Em, you deal with the boys. Morgie, come help me out.
Morgana: Okay.
Emery: What were you both thinking? Look what you’ve done!
Edward: But it wasn’t me! It was Charlie who cut her hair!
Charles: But you said go on too! You didn’t stop me at all!
Edward: Liar!
Emery: Enough! The both of you are grounded for a month. You can only leave your room to eat and to go to school. I’ll take away your GS5 and your phones.
Charles: But dad—
Emery: No buts! Now go to your room and reflect on what you did today.
Edward: *grumbles* Fine.
Emery: *sighs* I swear to god, these two will be the death of me.
Ginny: Yeah, I’ll be back on Monday. Sorry I can’t join you guys for the shopping trip today.
Phone:......
Ginny: Uncle Henry invited my family to go camping with them at Rosemont this week. My parents are going back in a few weeks so he wanted to show them this place before they left.
Phone:......
Ginny: Of course! Just share the pictures in the group, I’m sure the dress you chose looks amazing. I can’t wait to see it.
Phone:......
Ginny: Okay, I’ll see you Monday, Ani. Tell Eli I said “Hi”. Good luck with the shopping!
Rainier: Hey, you guys made it!
Belle: Sorry for being late, everyone. We had some...problems with the twins.
Morgana: *giggles* Eddie and Charlie hid dad’s car keys.
Rainier: Well, at least you guys are here now. Come on, join us.
Rainier: You know it’s dangerous to be alone in this place, right?
Ginny: Don’t worry, I'm not that far away from everyone.
Rainier: Can I join you?
Ginny: Sure.
Rainier: What are you looking for?
Ginny: I’m looking for my star.
Rainier: Your star?
Ginny: Yeah. Dad always said that the brightest one was my star when I was little.
Rainier: *chuckles* Your dad knows how to entertain you.
Ginny: *smiles* He’s trying his best.
Rainier: Wait, I think I found it.
Ginny: Really? Where?
Rainier: There, on my right. Do you see that?
Ginny:...ooh! I see it!
Rainier: It’s bright, right?
Ginny: Hmm...but it’s not that bright.
Rainier: I think it’s very bright, though.
Ginny: *giggles* There must be something wrong with your eyes then.
Rainier: I’m pretty sure my eyesight is perfect.
Ginny: *laughs* Whatever you say, Mr. Grimalldi.
Rainier: Hey, I was wondering...
Ginny: What is it?
Rainier: Have you...have you asked anyone to the prom yet?
Ginny: Oh, not yet. I was too busy planning for it I didn’t think about asking anyone.
Rainier: Well uh, if that’s the case. Do you...do you want to go to prom with me?
Ginny: W-what?
Rainier: You know, as friends?
Ginny: Oh. Right. Yeah, sure. If you don’t mind, of course.
Rainier: Of course I don’t mind. Just tell me what you’re wearing and I’ll look for a matching suit.
Ginny: I will. Thank you for inviting me.
Rainier: *smiles* Thank you, for accepting my invite.

Yorkton Airport, Yorkton (2:45pm)
Rainier: Promise me you’ll keep in touch?
Ginny: *smiles* I promise. Take care, alright?
Rainier:...alright.
Ginny: What’s wrong?
Rainier: I just wanted to ask, you know...about us.
Ginny: Us?
Rainier: Yeah. I want to know...what are we? I don’t want to jump the gun and ask you to be my girlfriend now. I want to make sure that you’re ready for it too.
Ginny: I honestly don’t know. I’m scared that if we do get together, we’ll have to do long distance.
Rainier: I can do long distance. But if you can’t...I’ll understand.
Ginny: I can do it too but I’m just...I don’t know. Worried?
Rainier: Hey, you don’t have to worry. I can always come and visit you there.
Ginny: But what about your studies? You’re about to enter Uni. You’re going to be busy.
Rainier: I can manage.
Ginny: Are you sure?
Rainier: Yes. I’m sure of it.
Ginny:...okay. Let’s give this a try.
Emery: Ginny, we’re about to take off.
Ginny: *hugs Rainier* I have to go.
Rainier: Okay. Take care. I’ll miss you.
Ginny: I...I’m going to miss you too.
Rainier: Before you go. I have something for you.
Ginny: What is it?
Rainier: Here. Do you like it?
Ginny: I do. What’s this for?
Rainier: A gift. Something for you to remember me by. So every time you look at it, it reminds you of me.
Ginny: *smiles* Thank you. I'll take good care of it.
Belle: Ginny! Come on!
Ginny: Coming! *to Rainier* I’ll see you again. Thank you for everything.
