The Maluran Royal Family

Their Majesties Sultan Syed Abdullah & Sultanah Bahiyyah Her Royal Highness Tengku Mawar Zahirah & The Most Honourable Dato' Seri Ameer Harris His Royal Highness Raja Muda Tengku Uthman Shah & Her Royal Highness Raja Puan Muda Afifah Maisarah

Not really relevant to the story tbh, but the Fredericks did originate from Malura before Windasia was a country. Figuring out their titles was highkey a headache, especially since Malura is heavily inspired by my country. And where I come from, we have 9 royal families, and all 9 have different ways of addressing their royals 💀

Zahirah and Uthman have shown up before in my story. I lost their OG file, so I had to remake their sims 😭 Zahirah is Uthman's older sister, but she's not the heir since Malura prefers male heirs over female heirs :/. They had another brother, Tengku Umar, Uthman's older brother and Zahirah's younger brother. But he died of cancer, so Uthman became the new Raja Muda (Crown Prince) since Umar wasn't married and had no heirs.

Anyways, posting this bcs I want to show off the dresses I commissioned @byregalia. They looked ✨amazing✨. 10/10 would commission again. I love seeing these tbh bcs it's so hard to find CCs of outfits from my culture. It was worth every penny I spent on.

Thought I'd drop here for a second to share some pics I've taken of the Fredericks while I was away from this blog! Man, I miss them sm. I'm still working on their story in the background and adding drafts whenever I get some free time (which is super fcking rare (┬┬﹏┬┬)). Also, I've been watching Perfect Crown, and it's been a good watch so far! I wish it was longer tho bcs I feel like 12 episodes is NOT enough with how things are going rn in the drama 💀

Hi. It's been a while.

Sorry for disappearing just like that considering I've never pulled this before since I first began posting on this blog.

No, this is not a goodbye note. I'm just gonna give y'all a little life update on what's been going on with me hahaha

So uh, I'm alive and well. Life has been life-ing since I returned to my home country. I was severely burnt out from doing my Masters and a week after coming home, I started working and my sleeping schedule has been a fucking mess since then. As it turns out, remotely working for a foreign company where you have to follow their time zones would fuck with your sleep schedule. Who would've known? /s

I haven't had the time to open the game bcs of this and as a result, my story has been put on the back burner bcs y'know, irl stuff is my priority. And I'm also experiencing some burnout for basically everything. So I decided to take this break for my own sake and for the blog's sake. I'm hoping that when I come back, I could return with a story that everyone can enjoy.

Aside from not having time bcs of work and personal stuff, Love and Deepspace also had my full attention since September so...yeah. I blame Zayne for taking my attention away from the story lol

I'm not ending the story for this blog anytime soon, even if there's only like 10 ppl reading it. Ya girl is not a quiter. The story is still going, it's just on a...how should I say this? An indefinite hiatus? On a pause? And I've also like thought about putting it on a pause while working on it until the ending in the background so when the chapter is up, I'll just release them one by one. Still considering this tbh 🤷🏽‍♀️

I hope everyone is doing okay. I do miss posting here. But rn irl is my priority. I turned off my ask so I do not have to worry about leaving anyone's asks hanging.

I do want to thank the ppl who reached out to me via discord and asked me how I'm doing. I really appreciate that (❁´◡`❁)

Started playing Love and Deepspace bcs I saw @unasyns' pics and now I'm in too deep into the lore and my heart is completely shattered reading the LI's stories and backstories.

Astrid literally gets on my last nerve. I’ve never liked her and now I know I never will.

When I read the post, I immediately thought of Filipino dramas - like Astrid pulled the same stunt lol. Except she’s lying in which case either she hopes Leon will sleep with her for real this time and actually get her pregnant or she’s planning on cuckolding him.

I’m still hoping Leon and Nora end up together even if it’s in the far far future?😅

Hahaha I get it, it does give a bit of P-drama now that I look back at it. They have some wild plots over there but I eat that shit up every time 😂 But I assure you, I wasn't watching any P-dramas while working on Leon's storyline 🧎🏽‍♂️So...we'll see what happens next I guess bcs things just went from bad to worse for the peeps in Astor.

As for Leon and Nora...I'm not done with them anytime soon. Whether their paths will cross again after Leon's wedding is still uncertain. So, yeah. We shall wait and see when I come back!

not gonna lie, it's very off-putting how physical Leon is with both Astrid and Nora. There is no reason to be putting your hands on people like that, ugh

I mean, you're right to feel that way, it is off-putting when he acted the way he did with both Astrid and Nora.

However, I want to remind everyone that Leon is still the same Leon we have known since the first time he showed up. He mellowed out a bit, yes. But at his core, he's still the same guy. Easy to anger, snarky, very blunt when he doesn't like you etc etc. This is the same guy who went up to Lina's face the first time they met and had no problem being a prick to her back then. This man is not a saint.

While it might seem like he has "changed" since befriending Alfie and co., right now he is in a bad place (not that it's an excuse for him to react the way he did! It is NEVER an excuse to hurt people when you're in a bad place, EVER.) and when you're in a bad place and lost the thing that made you want to be better (in this case, Nora), it's much easier for people like him to revert back to his older, much colder self. Again, I'm not trying to excuse his actions here, but I have to explain why he did what he did.

Leon is not a violent person, he would never intentionally put his hands on a woman no matter how much he dislikes them. He was reacting out of shock and disbelief because he believed that he had never touched Astrid. They live together, yes, but it's because Maximus made them and they slept in separate rooms. But when Astrid came into the room, announcing her pregnancy to him and in front of the woman he is still in love with, basically announcing that she has sexually assaulted him (if she's not lying, which is a problem in itself), his reaction is understandable. It’s important to emphasize that he is a victim and the emotional responses to abuse differ.

So Astrid took advantage of Leon when he wasn't fully coherent and raped him knowing that he thought she was Nora? And now she's pregnant with her insurance bab(ies) so she can ensure that he marries her? I have never liked this character this is low even for her. Poor Leon and Nora. And to announce it like that in front of Nora was intentionally cruel, Astrid knew exactly what she was doing.

If she wasn’t lying to him to make sure the wedding is still on, then yes, it’s low even for her. It’s unacceptable to do that to a person. Her actions so far have been very calculated and she knows what she’s doing. She has eyes and she can see how both Leon and Nora feel for each other, and that threatens her already precarious position.

At the moment, her goal is to hurt Leon as much as she can. A "payback" to how he treated her before, I'd say. Nora getting hurt as well is just a bonus for her.

If she's going to be miserable in this loveless marriage, then she'll bring Leon down with her as well.
