sumiko (ex princess of nihon) > first introduced at queen aubrey of burgundy’s diplomatic reception (edward’s mom) > got close to queen aubrey > aubrey was trying to set sumiko up with edward because aubrey hates mary > sumiko grew obsessed with mary & would copy her outfits etc > aubrey encourages this behavior to spite mary > mary & edward graduate university and he goes off to the royal military academy > sumiko goes home to nihon > then there’s the great war between burgundy & everyone, the king and queen are executed, burgundy is forced to unite with brixton to create great brixton >

sumiko promised she’d be back so she returns > she created a fake cheating scandal to try to break mary & edward up, she slanders him > it’s revealed that she lied > mary & edward announce their engagement and sumiko is enraged > she organizes for her staff to kidnap mary and take her to nihon > mary undergoes a lot of trauma at the hands of sumiko > edward & his homies (+ darien 😋) rescue mary safely >

there’s talks of war happening between great brixton and nihon because a nihon princess kidnapped a gb princess (it’s kept hush hush though) > mary & edward get married > sumiko hired an hitman and he attempts to assassinate mary during the balcony wave > sumiko is already imprisoned in nihon because of the kidnapping* > she says she’s gonna take mary down and doesn’t care how long it takes > war stuff happens > nihon loses > her parents, the emperor and empress, are exiled > sumiko sentenced to 25 years > she got out a year early > scary vibes

Edward: There are three guards surrounding the building, with two on patrol. One is to the left, and the other is to the right. The only stationary guard is positioned by the door.

Darien: We have to take out the guards quietly first. We can’t use guns or else that will alarm the people inside.

Edward: Rose and Marshall, make your way from the left around to the front of the building. Zander and Rodriguez will watch the perimeter to make sure there aren’t any other potential guards. Darien and I will enter from the side.

The Black Sparrows have found Mary’s location in the deep forests of Nihon, but now the real fight begins. . .

Sumiko: I didn’t think you’d find me so fast. But look what we have here, Darien Harden. I see you’re tired of playing the puppet Prince for your Princess, huh?

Edward: Don’t, Darien. She’s trying to get a reaction out of you.

Sumiko: Put your guns down, or I’ll pull the trigger right now.

Mary: Don’t listen to her!

Edward: Fine. I’ll put my gun down. Just don’t hurt her.

Darien: Edward, what are you doing?! It’s a trick!

Edward: She has Mary, Darien! Just listen to her!

Edward: See? I’m unarmed. Now just let Mary go.

Sumiko: Tell him to drop the gun, or I’ll shoot her.

Mary breaks free from Sumiko’s grasp.

Edward: Get down, Mary!

It all happens quickly. Darien lunges at Mr. Watanabe, Sumiko’s henchman, knocking the gun from his hand. Mary ducks down. Edward reaches for his gun.

Sumiko: Do you have a death wish, Eddie?

Edward: I don’t want to do this. But you just won’t stop. All this time you’ve done nothing but torment us. Torment me. When will you stop this? Don’t you think you caused enough problems?

Darien: Edward! Just get it over with.

Edward: I’m sorry.

Sumiko: I’m not.

BANG.

Kidnapper: We arrived here quicker than expected, Your Imperial Highness. Thank you for supplying us with air transport.

Woman: Has she been well, Watanabe-san?

Mr. Watanabe: She’s mellowed out since we got here. This girl is feisty; she put up a good fight.

Mary: You don’t have to do this. You don’t have to stoop this low. You’re better than this.

Sumiko: You know nothing about me.

Mary: I do. I know that you’re misunderstood.

Sumiko: Misunderstood? Ha, that’s rich coming from the perfect little Princess that’s loved by everyone. You have the perfect family, the perfect fiancé, and the perfect life people like me can only dream of having. What do you know about being misunderstood?

Sumiko pushes Mary onto the ground, holding her pistol to her.

Mary: Why are you doing this? What do you gain from this?

Sumiko, whispering: Everything. That little fiancé of yours, for starters.

Mary: Slandering his name and reputation wasn’t enough? You can’t have him, Sumiko. He won’t want you, especially if you kill me.

Sumiko orders for her henchman, Mr. Watanabe, to sit Mary back down in her chair.

Mary: You won’t shoot me, Sumiko. You may look all big and bad holding a gun, but inside you’re weak. Doing this makes you feel strong, doesn’t it?

Sumiko: Don’t underestimate me, bitch.

At gunpoint, Mary inevitably complies with Sumiko’s demands and sits back down in the chair.

Sumiko, smirking: Just wait until I’m finished with you. You’ll be begging for that Prince Charming of yours to come to save you, but he won’t. Oh, how I’ve waited so long for it to be just you and me.

BREAKING NEWS: EDWARD CHEATING ON MARY? PHOTOS LEAKED BY ANON SOURCE “S”

At 12:00 p.m., an anonymous source called “S” released a series of photographs revealing a possible whirlwind affair between Mr. Edward Beauchamp and a foreign princess, HIH Princess Sumiko of Nihon. 

Edward is unofficially engaged to HRH Princess Mary of Great Brixton, and the couple has been dating for nearly a decade. As the ex-Crown Prince of Burgundy, Edward was once allegedly engaged to Princess Sumiko before the events of the Great War.

It appears the pictures were taken by “S” and uploaded to social media, where the pictures have spread like wildfire. Some #MARDWARD and #EDMARY shippers don’t believe Edward could have cheated on Mary with her enemy, Sumiko. 

With the sudden release of the pictures, Edward’s reputation is being called into question.
