Sunday Snippet

(I struggled to find a snippet that wasn't spoilery. Really wanted to do a second snippet today*. I do have a lot written ahead, almost till the end of the Bridgeport section... I just don't want to reveal some stuff right now.)

“Once upon a time Grandma Notte took a boat to the New World. She ended up in Bridgeport where she funded The Clan. You see, there were some really bad people in Bridgeport that were hunting down vampires just for being different. So Grandma Notte recruited her new friends: Byron, Adam, Seraphine, Guy and Gabriel. Together they fought off the evil people.

The kingdom prospered and riches flowed. And then Grandma Notte met Carlos. Once a swashbuckling pirate, he was impressed with Katherine’s kingdom. Then, they fell in love. And got married. And had a kid: Charles.

But oh no! Disaster struck. Grandma Notte got sick leaving Carlos alone with Charles. Carlos raised Charles to be the new King, and once he was old enough he took over. The kingdom once again prospered.

But Charles needed a queen. So he went in search of one. It was a long and arduous quest but eventually he met Elizabeth. They fell in love, got married, and had two daughters: Lara and Vera.

Lara was raised to be the next queen. But she had other plans. Instead of staying in Bridgeport and taking over, she moved, here, to St Erast. She met Grandpa Alan and they got married and had… well it was 3 kids at first but now it’s 4 (I hope it’s still 4…)

One of those kids was your Grandpa Ulene. He’s very excited to meet you, by the way. Him and Grandma Katra. They met when they were young even though grandma’s family is from Dragon Valley. Anyway, like all the others before they eventually fell in love, got married, and had kids. Well, actually, two of the kids came before the wedding. But anyway that’s how your uncles and aunties were made: Eti, Ari, Ash, Benny, Blaze, Timmy…and me! The best of all of us, of course.

And then well, I grew up, met your mom… and here you are! My little Princess.”

Give your Character a Sword Tag

Just saw @danjaley do this and I thought I'd give it a go.

Not the best of reproductions, I'm still on a CC hunt for one I want to use in game. I figured I can actually share this much ahead of it being presented in story:

The Byzantine Sword

The legendary sword made for Sir Kay, a vampire that was at war with King Ector, another vampire, over who should rule the land. Sir Kay killed Ector with this sword and became King himself. The name comes from the maker.

It's supposed to have rubies on the hilt. It's been in the family for a while but as to how it got into their possession and what it was used for, it'll be revealed later. Despite the picture depicting so, the sword has been kept clean and has no blood on it, in a literal sense. Metaphorically of course, that's another matter.

Looking for Simblreen admin

For the past couple of years I've been admin on @simblreenofficial . This year I unfortunately won't have time to do much, possibly not even participate, so I'm wondering if there are any peeps out there that are interested? We normally do announcements of the activity on late August/early September thus why I'm looking for peeps now.

Gay sims? Sims that like the D?

Spoiler alert?

So I’m about to take pictures of this thing and they’re going to something akin to a gay club. Because the amount of sims I currently have in there isn’t making my game sigh enough (seriously, every time I try to save while focused in the club I get error 12) I want to add more sims!

idk, I just thought I’d ask. I was thinking they could simply be party goers but if they want to be working there then that’s cool too. I’d need permission to dress them though.
