Send good vibes my way if you could, Simbrah goes in for surgery to fix her ear tomorrow and I'm really nervous.
After losing Bessie to complications after surgery I'm very scared for my girl. Senior dogs do not take general anesthesia well.

This is how you know you've found the right spot to scratch.
how is the lovely Simbrah??🥰
She's doing better!
Well... Yeah I'll say better.
Shes acting more like her self. Playing with toys. Lots more energy and spirit.
She's still scratching a lot though. It got to the point where she looked mangy almost because her sides had do little fur.
She has been put in the shirt of shame
But she actually likes it. I think it's like a security blanket. She doesn't really even try to scratch when it's on (which tells me her scratching is mostly anxiety/ocd related). So we're keeping her in that. The fur on her side is growing back. Though her knees are still bald.
She still likes to eat her feet but I can monitor her and get her to stop.
I don't think she smells nearly as bad as she did but maybe I'm just used to it.
The other night she had a bit of a bedwetting incident (my bed. While I was sleeping in it 🤢 ) but that's related to a different issue that we already knew about (most senior bitches who've been spayed will develop incontinence issues as they get older.) I forgot to give her her pills so that was my bad.
But yeah she's doing good!
BRAHMAN..
