NEW MUSIC/VIDEO: Waylaid - "Short Line"

Waylaid is the new musical project from Laurier University's Faculty of Music student Matthew Ariaratnam. The folksy, indie rock outfit, formed soley of chamber musicians from the university have recently released a two track single that was recorded with Simon Larochette at the Sugar Shack in London, ON. On top of that they've given the visual treatment to the side A track "Short Line", which you can watch above.

WHIPPING WIND My pal Andrew James is a pretty amazing musician. He has been creating some of my favourite local lo-fi/pop music under the moniker Whipping Wind. For his 7” release, drummer Eric Lourenco, Bassist Simon Larochette, and Saxophonist Shawn Clarke, joined AJ on stage at Call the Office and officially killed it.
