NEW MUSIC: Whipping Wind - LCBO
Whipping Wind is easily one of the best bands coming out of London, ON. The band of misfits, lead by Andrew James, use his quirky, lovelorn lyrics and their infectious rhythms and riffs to create music to fill and move a room. The latest example from the local power pop band is the distorted, crunchy anthem "LCBO." A previously unreleased track which James says is a "home recording of a silly new song about drinking gin and going out dancing with my girlfriend."

WHIPPING WIND My pal Andrew James is a pretty amazing musician. He has been creating some of my favourite local lo-fi/pop music under the moniker Whipping Wind. For his 7” release, drummer Eric Lourenco, Bassist Simon Larochette, and Saxophonist Shawn Clarke, joined AJ on stage at Call the Office and officially killed it.
