The first Crown fought by Rapier. A GREAT day.
Making heraldic masks for folks.
New cioppa completed for East Kingdom Crown last weekend. Highly recommend the Margo Anderson patterns-it worked great for me with almost no fitting required. (Photos by Bianca)
Ran one of the Crown Feeder Tournaments in the East over the weekend. It was damp, but a good event.
In the East Kingdom, the runner up at Crown Tourney is referred to as the Admiral of the Armies. It is a job with no official duties, but does come with a really cool hat.
Strangewayes is good friends with Darostur, another local household. Sir Matthias is the newest Admiral as of this past weekend, and it was a HECK of a finals. We watched the livestream as a group, and when it was all over, we sprang into action to ensure that the Admiral was welcomed home in style.
First time I’ve been in full, actually laced up garb in ages.
Of course, I got to the botanical gardens and realized I’d forgotten 90% of my accessories, but eh. This was a test run.
Some of the Household went to Sir Zippy’s house and learned how to carve soapstone mold for pewter casting. (Although we actually cast in tin. Shinier and less toxic than lead pewter. Do not lick!)
Strangewayes at Pennsic, somewhat.
