A couple of very fun jobs that recently passed through the workshop. Along with the Supro posted earlier, these two lovely vintage Fender guitars belong to Simon Raymonde, multi instrumentalist with the @cocteau.twins • • The first is a rare Fender BASS VI, made in 1962... it’s second year of production. The second is a Fender XII from 1966. Both were in a bit of a state after being in storage for a while. Both needed quite a bit of work to get them functional again, but I managed to repair all the electronics without having to replace anything, keeping them all original.
