Hi, I have thoughts on the change from 'Unique Magic' to 'Signature Spell' specifically. They have completely different implications. Here's why:
'Signature Spell' is inherently worse, because it's been generalized. A signature spell is just a spell you're known for using. That can be anything. The number of spells in the world is practically endless, and anyone can use them. You can pick any spell and make that your 'signature'. People can have the same signature spell. Like I said, it's too generalized.
'Unique Magic' directly implies that the power is something only you can do. It's unique. And it's not a spell, it's a latent magic within you. It is a power that belongs only to you, and no one else can use it, no matter how hard they try. No one will have a power exactly like yours ever again.
In short: 'Unique Magic' is objectively the better term.
