It starts in the middle of the sea. In a stormy night. The clouds as dark as they could be, thunder rolled through the sky, louder with every second, lighting struck, waves crashed as tall as mountains. The sea showed it's ugliest sides.

Yet a ship sailed through the tall waves. The heavy rain purred down on the blanks. Singing could be heard from inside the ship, not bothered by the heavy storm outside. A crew cheerful and drunk as they could be sang pirates songs. A man, a captain stepped on one of the tables. With that the room got quiet. He held his hands up high, holding a small baby, a girl in his tattooed hands. His face filled with pride but sorrow at the same time. "There you are! Your name is "reader"! My pride, my joy! My only most precious daughter! Born in this stormy night you will have a most interesting future ahead!", the captain said, holding you close to his chest.

The man, your father looked to his crew as he raised his cup, "Man, let's have a toast to my late wife and my new born child. She shall be raised under my watch, on this very ship. This was the last wish of my wife! And I shall honor it!", he said, tears in his eyes but having a grin on his face. The crew yelled, a few crying, a few to drunk to understand. This was your first moment in this world.

Since you could remember you lived the pirates live. Always out on sea, exploring islands. Your father teached you everything you needed to know. He teached you to fight with a sword from an early age one, letting you fight against one of the crew members daily, he teached you to use a gun. He was there when you made your first shot. Your father also made sure to teach you all tricks and wits, map reading, compass reading. Even tho somehow you never needed a compass to find your way home. Somehow you always knew where to go. It was weird.

Yet whenever you told your dad about it he just shrugged his shoulders and chuckled. You always thought he was mocking you so eventually you stopped bringing it up. You loved your father very much, he gave you everything you ever could ask for. The crew always called you 'the heart of the crew'. They were like a big happy family for you. You shared so many beautiful memories.

But alas...  this all had to end one day. One day before your 18th birthday EVERYTHING was taken from you....

It was a calm night. Almost to calm. And that worried you. You tried to tell your father but he never feared anything, so he just dismissed it. Maybe because he was fearless they had tracked him down. Ah, just a future thought of yours-

Your ship the "polar-sky", the ship you named when you had became 12 years old, sailed peacefully along some islands. Yes, your father gifted you an entire new ship on that you would sail in the future. He was truly the best dad someone could ever ask for.

Just as the polar-sky was about to sail around the corner you saw it! A ship! A ship hiding behind the montain. You panicked, you ran towards your father. Telling him what you saw. Looking into the direction of the ship, he yelled for the crew to get ready for a front-on fight. But your father looked serious. "Dad who are they? Are they dangerous?", you asked worried. Your father nodded while giving orders, then turning to you. Taking your hands while leading you to the middle of the ship. "Ay! This is Salazar! The pirate hunter! He is famous for killing pirates left and right, without reason, without mercy. There is no way to negotiate with him. A fight is impossible to avoid!", he explained, his hand caressing over your head, down your cheek. Back then you didn't really notice it but his eyes seemed to say so many unspoken words, even tho you had talked everyday. "You look just like your mother when you worried you know?", he smiled, but it was filled with something. Sorrow? Grief? Regret? You couldn't tell.

You thought your father was acting strange. "Dad whats going on?", you asked confused. Your father smiled at you, "I need you to hide in the crow nest! Don't come out! No matter what happens! Escape the ship as soon as you can! I need you do abandon the polar-sky and.. us!", he said, still smiling.

You couldn't process what he just said. "I can't do that! Dad I can't leave you! I'll fight just like the rest of the crew! You teached me to leave no one behind! Y-You said thats what sets us apart from other pirates!", you held onto his arm, hands shaking. "This is an order reader! Not as your father, but as your captain!", your father said strictly, he seemed angry. "F-Father-", you tried again. Stopping you, the man pulled you in a hug and spoke gently, "Your name is 'reader'! You're named after a star constellation. Your mother gave you that name. It translates to "-Compass of the Sea-"! It means that you were born for the sea! You will always find the right way!", he took one step back. Faint cries of crew members were to be heard. But that didn't matter right now.  "Reader! You are my pride and joy! Always have been! I teached you everything I know! You've already surpassed me! Here take this!", your father spoke as he gave you a necklace, hanging it around your neck.

"Your mother said it was to fight of evil. On the necklace lasts a spell. No one, that wants to harm you can ever touch you! Also remember: Don't ever betray the compass! You will find out what it means!", with that he pushed you up to the crow nest. You had tears in your eyes, while climbing up, you finally understood. That was it! Your dad knew there was no escape! Was he expecting this?

You hid in the crow nest like a coward. At least the dying screams and smell of blood and burning fire made you feel like one. But you had to honor your fathers last wishes.

You heard the last words of your father, "It's a pirates live for me capitan salazar!" and with that it was over. You saw how the dead body of your father fell to the floor. Biting your lip. You tried to calm your breathing. You looked at the necklace around your neck as you repeated, "It's a pirates live for me!"

Rubbing away the tears that streamed down your cheeks, you focused. You looked around. You had to escape from here! And then you saw it! A small empty boat swimming around in the sea, a bit farther away from the polar-sky. This is your chance! You stood up and took one of the broken ropes from the sails in your hands. Pulling a bit on it to make sure it was secure. Perfect! And with a deep breath you ran, clinging to the rope and jumped towards the boat. Swinging with the rope and letting go right before the boat. You landed in the sea, swimming towards the boat. Climbing onto it. Making sure to move as quickly as possible. Away. Away from the pirate hunters!

All of a sudden you saw something flying towards you. You thought it was a bulled so you almost jumped from the boat. Closing you eyes. But nothing happened. Carefully looking up, you saw a sheated sword flying infront of you. Like it's waiting to be taken.

"This is..", your fathers sword! Did it choose you? But currently wasn't the time to think about this! So you toke the sword in your hand, putting it in the boat next to you and got quickly back to your escape plan. Making use of the sudden rising fog. Which was quiet strange. Where did come from you had no idea. But it was usefull! You looked around and followed your feelings. And turns out it was the right decision!

A small island appeared in view. You needed to find another boat or ship. This small boat was way to easy to spot. And you were sure the pirate hunter saw you escaping. Without a doubt he was coming after you. Jumping of your boat you ran like crazy over the shore, keeping your eyes open for anything you could use. Than you saw it. A trade ship with barrels. Perfect! You had an idea! Making sure no one was looking, you emptied one of the barrels. Filled with wine before, now empty. A good hiding spot! And so you crawled inside. Now you just had to wait.

As you opened your eyes you heard the waves crashing. A smile formed on your lips. Seems like your plan worked. Carefully you opened the barrel, peaking out. It seemed like you were still sailing. Better to hide out here for a while and on the next stop you would leave. At least you thought so. But not even one hour later some loud noises were to be heard on deck. And than you heard it, "Find her! That pirate girl is here somewhere! The idiot on the island said so!". The damn shitty pirate hunter! What was his name again? Salamander? No.. Salsa? No thats a dance.. Mhh.. something with an S at the start! Well nevermind! Is he seriously already here??

You panicked. Crawling out of the barrel. An escape was needed quickly! It looks like you were in the lowest part of the ship. Carefully crawling to the small window you opened it. Looking out. Another ship was right next to this one. You double checked. It looked empty. No guards to be seen! You rolled your eyes and looked confused. Did they really leave their ship without someone to keep watch? Or was it a trap? But before you could think about it some more, you heard fast footsteps. Without waisting a second longer you closed the barrel again, making it seem like one of the others. After you climbed out the window, and jumped towards the rope on the other ship. With an 'ouff' you crashed against the other ship wall. Cllimbing upwards quickly. Quietly you landed on the deck. Looking around. It's really empty! What a risky move! You couldn't help but to question the methods of this so called famous "navy pirate hunter". Your dad would never have pulled such a stant-.. Ah your dad..

You swallowed hard and concetrated again on your surroundings. Cutting all the ropes off, the pirate hunters had laid out. Right after you made yoir way towards the helm of the ship. Steering it away. And it worked! Well, given this ship was a bit smaller than the polar-sky. And you used to often take over the helm on your old ship. Dad's teachings! You ran towards the sails and raised them. Looking at the sails you smiled, soon you would win on wind and then you were out of here!

Before you could celebrate a voice shouted through the air. Salazar looked at you in disbelieve. You waved and grinned,"I'll just borrow your ship a bit alright captitan? Thank you and adiou~", you waved as you sailed away. Thanks to the wind you were out of there quickly. Under deck you found a bunch of maps, taking all of them with you and a few gold you managed to find, you stopped at the next town. First a change of clothes should be in order and then stocking up on food should be next in line!

Gibbs: Reader once asked me, "Mr Gibbs do you think that jack will leave me too one day?". And I only laughed out loud. Which uhm.. I do apologize for.. it was rude of me! I answered her, "Leave you?! By my soul jack would rather sell his compass and the pearl before he would EVER leave you. It would be like leaving his rum!"

Gibbs: Reader, the most loyal to Captain Jack Sparrow. Always by his side and always on his side! Even if everyone turns against him. Not her! Never her! We abandoned the ship and jack stayed back for the kraken. Reader refused to leave, she said: "The capitain sinks with his ship and a compass sinks with her home". I realised- jack wasn't just a captain to her but a home, an anker in the dark sea. In the end jack hugged her close just to push her from the ship into the sea, saving her from the kraken! These two.. giving a man a headache and a heartbreak!

Will: As reader helped me break jack out of prison. I asked her, "Why go through all the trouble? Why not sail under another captain?". She got mad at me and yelled without a hint of doubt in her voice, "I'll only ever sail under one captain! The best one there is! And that is Captain Jack Sparrow!". Also because of her we almost got caught!!-

Will: I asked jack a long time ago, "Why betray you crew like this?". And he calmly answered, "Pirates betray each other all the time that doesn't change the bound you share my boy". But as I asked, "So would you betray reader like this as well?", and jack raised his pistol against me in light speed. Pressing it to my neck. "SHE is OFF LIMITS! Savey?!!", he added. I just quickly nodded and he let me go. That hurt you know?!

Elizabeth: They share the same energy. But also a similuar charisma & charm! "Why is the rum gone?", jack asked me once. A while later reader asked me, "What happened to the rum?Why is it gone?". Another time jack flirted with me, well he tried- " Darling~.. did you ever think of wearing.. less?". Just as I was about to turn him down reader continued by saying, "He is right, these clothes would look better on the floor~". Jack answered laying an arm around reader, "ay you understand me so well love~" and reader just winked back at him. They are really cute actually hehe~

Elizabeth: There was a time I-I.. I thought reader would hate me forever.. I did a horrible thing! I hurt her deeply!-  We sat in the boat as we watched jack going down with the kraken. Reader jumped overboard and started swimming towards the land. As Will asked her what she was doing, she glared at me, a gaze I never had seen before. A scary one. "I'd rather not sit in a boat with a traitor! Who knows maybe she will sacrifice me next?!", with that she turned away. It hurt. We used to be friends. Luckly she forgave me..

Callypso: "How can I save jack? What prise do I have to pay?", reader came to me in secret, asking me about jack. Her eyes determinded, a set course in them! I remember smiling and placed my hand on her still beating heart. "Are you ready to face death? On his side you will be in deaths eye all the time-" "Yes! I'll face everything I have to! If the glass of dirt can't protect jack, I will!" I've only seen such resolve once. True Love. "Follow your heart, your course is already set! Your love can still save him! You have everything you need, 'reader- compass of sea'!", those words I told her.

Callypso: As we found jack and he walked to us. He seemed to have doubts to how real we were. But reader just straight up dashed towards him. Pouncing on him like a wild beast. Just to hug him and hold him tight. Tears falling down her face, " Y-Your compass found it's way back to you jack!", reader sobbed. It hurted even me, seeing her like that. It reminded me of something.. Nevermind! To everyones suprise jack hugged reader back. Clinging to her. "And I brought your home right back ay?", jack answered pointing his head towards the black pearl. It wasn't suprising to me, since the compass never betrayed jack!

Davy Jones: I tought of her as a naive brat who held useless human emotions! But I admit that 'the compass' as her father liked to call her is quiet strong. I knew her father- A poor excuse of a pirate but he never feared anything! Not even death! His daughter is the same! She had the guts to start a fight with me and kept up. "Mess with Captain jack, mess with me!", she yelled. Still if sparrow hadn't shown up the victory would've been mine! 

Davy Jones: As this 'turner' took my place and killed me. Sparrow when asked why he didn't take my place said, "Can't become immortal witout bringing my compass along savey?". Guess he does have some.. morals?

Blackbeard: The 'compasse's' Father and me both have daughters that make us proud. To bad angelica and reader don't seem to get along very well. I threatend jack to take me to the fountain. If not I'd burn his puppet and him. When this brat stabbed her sword into my hand and yelled, "STOP!! I WON'T LET YOU HURT JACK!". In her eyes not the slightest fear. I was impressed. Rarely I see pirates who are worth enough to let them  live after they hurt me. But I still needed her. Sparrow is nothing without his compass after all!

Blackbeard: Sparrow is a coward. He sacrifces everything and everyone if it saves his skin. At least thats how it always was. I demanded reader to jump from a cliff for us, yet sparrow pushed her behind him and stepped infront of me, " I say we play a game. The loser will jump. What say you? Just me and you?". It took me quiet by suprise.

Angelica: Jack likes her! It's obvious as daylight. And I can see why.. As I pretended to be captain jack sparrow I flirted with reader in a rather sensual manner. But she called my bluff right then and there. "You're NOT jack! He wouldn't use that cheap flirting on me! Tell me, who are you?", she said. I couldn't believe it. There wasn't one pretty woman jack , that handsome asshole wouldn't talk into his bed. Reader started a fight with me and beat me in the end, "As I thought! Jack always dodges that attack!", she smirked down at me victiorously. Fair.. i guess!

Angelica: I tried to warn her. Not to ever confess her feelings to jack. I told her he would leave her just like he had me. I told her I wanted him to stay by my side. I deserve it, he stole my innocent years from me! Reader just smiled and said, "Good luck if you manage to steal him away! I'll have the sea all to myself! I'll be the best captian of the sea! Can't wait to see that~", she laughed and walked away. This responds wanted me to explode from rage. How dare she? Isn't she scared?

Angelica: I asked reader, "Do you love jack?". Reader smiled, a bright, precious, so incredible pure smile, "Yes I do love jack!", she answered so honestly, so proudly. "I love him too! We once had a.. thing, a bound you kniw? I thought he loved me.. but than he left me! So don't trust him to much!", I said. Trying to warn her again. I was expecting her to cry, to get jelaous, mad even, but reader just.. took my hand and kissed it gently with her lips, "I'm sorry someone pretty as you deserves better mrs. angelica~". It was charming, the same charm that got me to fall for jack back then.

As she took a step back, bringing distance between us she continued, "I do love jack! But.. my first love will always be the sea!". What a naive answer.. I thought back than. Until jack dropped me of on a lonely island. Leaving me again. I asked him, "Will you leave 'reader' like this too?", " Never!", came jack's answers right after out of his mouth. "Do you love 'reader'?", I asked, my last question as he sailed away. First I got no answer. Thinking he was ignoring me. Damn asshole!! But then jack turned around one last time, "Yes I do.. BUT my first love will always be the sea!". Jack also told me he loved me before. Even tho, his smile was never so beautiful when he did...

Henry: "You here to save jack sparrow right?", reader approached me first. I nodded and asked her who she was, "I'm a old friend of your parents. Jack is my capitain. I'll help you save him but you need to help me convince the rest of the crew, savey?!", she smirked. So I gave in! Reader is truly a good soul!

Henry: Jack almost got married. But reader saved the day. And barbossa of course! "He is already married to me! See? Are you really going to break our destined bound? We are like and ebb and flow ay?", reader said while proudly holding up a ring . A ring I stole from one of the woman earlier- Ehh nevermind that. " Y-Yes I am married! Can't go against it alright??", jack agreed?! Woah he is down bad huh-

Carina: The dumbest but smartest couple I've ever and will ever meet! They finally found a way to free the ship from the bottle. "She..got smaller", jack said looking at toy-form pearl. "Or maybe we just got bigger?", reader said and jack nodded in agreement. "I guess she is cold huh?", jack asked, "Give her your jacket she will feel warmer", reader said. Jack was about to take of his clothes as my father, barbossa threw it in the sea. But the pearl didn't came back up right away. "She was a fine ship", jack looked sad, "Wahh I'll miss you black pearly", reader whined and sobbed. These two are A LOT-

Carina: Jack asked, "Has anyone see my bank?", "with money inside?", reader added on. Also I don't know how reader can be so accepting of jacks shamless, flirty acts. Thats what I thought. Until I got to know her better. " Don't stop, don't let us stop you", jack smirked at me as I was about to jump into the water. I looked at reader hoping she would control her lover. But reader just looked at jack and smirked, "Charmer can't you just strip too?". Jack let out a chuckle, "Not here love but tonight I might-".  "ENOUGH! Get a room!", I said annoyed.

Gipps: I just remembered! Reader was so jealous of the woman in the bank with jack. But she denied it. She pouted the entire night and morning. "Are you mayhaps jealous? You look very gloomy today?", I asked her. "No! It's not like we're married! He can do whatever he wants!", reader pouted. That continued until I said to her, " You mean like useing other woman for his plans and then forgetting their names? Reader, I promise you there is no woman in the world that holds a candle to you when it comes to jack! He doesn't even remember when we first met. But he knows when YOU TWO FIRST met! The day! The year! Even the exact time! I'm so jelaous..", I wanted to comfort her but ended up beeing the pouty one. But with that reader laughed again. So it was for a good reason right?

Barbossa (Hector): We go all the way back! Before Jack was the captain of the black pearl! Reader was part of the crew! They used to flirt even back then. It was a test for my eyes and my nerves! She was always so loyal to jack. And as he became the captain of the black pearl, people called her "his second in command". Also she is the only one who managed to escape from me! Twice! I hold respect in regards of her wits and her strength. She wanted her revenge on me for leaving jack at this lonely island. Well.. in the end jack got his revenge and reader forgave me. Reader also helped me talk to my daughter. I owe her thanks for that!

Barbossa (Hector) : Listen to me! NEVER! EVER! Let them escape or fight together! I'm speaking out of experience.. It's your worst nightmare! Seperate them or experience your downfall! But that damn compass always comes back to jack anyways soo nevermind!- Remember jacks epic escape from the king and the guards? Guess who is the only one that can keep up with him and has helped him? Jail breaks? Guess who helped him? Geting the rum back? Guess who helped? Reader..! Also their chaos energy is to just much! It gets on my nerves-

Salazar: Wonderfull isn't it?! The filthy pirate who took everything from me and the damn compass-girl who's escape became worldwide known and embarrassed me, are a couple?! Fate must really be mocking me! I thought my luck had come back as sparrow gave away the compass. But thats when I realised he has another compass, right by his side. And sparrow would never betray it.

Salazar: Her father, a fearless but fearsome man. A pirate that everyone respected! Smart, strong, a trustworthy leader. Everything I wanted to be. So I went and took that everything from him. But his daughter escaped. And once I had everything, sparrow took everything from me! And then jack had everthing I wanted to have! Reader battled me for her revenge, strong as she may be she had no chance against me. I pointed my sword against her neck and she smiled at me, " It's a pirates live for me salazar", she said. The same exact fearless words as her pirate father. This damn family! But before I could do anything jack grabbed my sword and pointed it at him, pushing reader behind him. The compass panicked and sparrow pointed towards the poisidon trident. Thats when sparrow smirked at me. I realised my sword was in his chest but I couldn't move it. In that momemt reader grabbed her sword and cut through the trident. In the same moment jack pulled the sword out and thrusted it into my heart. Not that it mattered cause I'm undead- I was alive? I felt pain? But jack wasn't done with just that, he made sure I died. "Pirates live ay?!", he smirked and looked back at reader. She wanted her revenge and jack got her that revenge!

Chapter 1 - First meeting

What happened to the tale? Mhh fine fine let me get to it! Guess some people are just destened to meet right?~ Like us?~

After a well needed change of clothes and eating some good food you managed to find out in which town you currently were. You remembered that one time your father mentioned to you that an old friend of his owned a bar here. Now it was time to search for it. After walking around, what felt for like hours, you found it. 'Lucifer' the sign said. Carefully opening the door you looked inside. It was quiet. This was weird for a bar. So you knocked on the door once. "TODAY IS CLOSED!!", a man's voice yelled. Well he seemed in a bad mood. But he was your only chance so you still stepped inside the bar, closing the door behind you.

"Ay but I heard you are an old friend of my father. He told me if something has happened I could look for you!", you explained waiting for an answer. In the next second a man with glasses, holding a book in his hand came around the corner. He looked at you curiously but also clearly judged you. You sighed and picked up the sheated sword around your waist. Showing it's crest to the man, " You do recognize this sword right? I'm his daughter. And he told me you own this bar and that you would help me if I ever needed it!", you explained again.

"Reader?!", he asked, looking up from the sword to you, his eyes softening as he placed the book down and taking of his glasses. You gave a smile and nodded, "Thats me~". He laughed and walked to the front of the bar. "Sit down I'll get us something to drink! It's not often that I meet old friends again!". Shortly after the man had two cups of rum ready. " You are old enough to drink right?", the man asked. You took a sip and grinned, "Ahh! Thats the stuff! You know how to start a conversation! I turned 18 yesterday or the day before. I don't know anymore..". The man laughed and nodded, "Just like your father! Also call me Van. What brings you hear?". You put down your cup after another sip. And smiled with a bitter taste to it. "Uncle Van, I wish I'd come to you with better news but.. My father is dead. He got killed by a man named.. uhh something with an S! Ssss- uhh- He is the head of the navy! He is known as the 'pirate hunter'! I managed to escape from him but he is still after me!", you explained, holding tears back.

A shocked face appeared on van's face. But it disappeared as quickly as it came, " I'm sorry for your lose! But what are you still doing here?! Reader, listen to me! His name is Salazar! He is dangerous! He is feared everywhere! People are even afraid to say his name! If you stay here he will find you in a day! Never stop moving for a year, two years or maybe forever! Hide and don't come out!", van rambled on in a panic. "I don't have a ship uncle van! The 'polar sky' sank..", you said with sigh. Van looked at you and took another sip of his cup, "There is a pirate crew which sets sails today! The captain was also a friend of your father! Closer than me! And I also think he desereves to know the truth.. Go and find him! He will let you join his crew without a doubt!".

A new crew? You felt a bit weird at that thought. It felt like a stab to the chest. But you had to pull yourself together! Well whatever it's better than to die here! But another friend of your father? Seriously? You knew your father was all around the cosmos but not like this?! "I didn't know my father was THIS well known! So many people talk about him", you said and smiled a bit shy. Embarrassed by your own realisation.

"By the seven seas how can you not know? There are tales everywhere about your father! 'Hellsman', a well known pirate. Many fear him and many admire him but everyone respects him. A good man and a good friend. But a problem for society! A troublemaker! But he had the best adventures to tell! Of course salazar is after your live!", van explained and looked seriously at you, "But your father also has many good friends! Many who will without a doubt protect you. But I doubt you would need that?", he added and looked at the sword you carried with you. A grin appeared on your face, "Sure my father teached me everything and trained me for years so that I act like a damsel in distress?", you laughed and waved your hand infront of your face. Van started to laugh too.

" Uncle van, I'm not scared of salazar. Nor am I scared to face him. But I'm no fool! I can't fight him by myself, it's to risky! I promised my father to live!", you caressed over your fathers sword and it seemed to vibrate as it's agreeing with your every word. Van looked at the sword and than back to you, in your eyes, "Smart like her mother and fearless like her father. The sword choose you it seems like! Go find the crew, the captain's name is 'morgan',".

You thanked van as you walked to the door. Finally a goal for tomorrow. You just hoped that this captain morgan would be as accepting as van mentioned. As you left through the door you didn't hear what van mumbled to himself,

"She is going to bring a storm to this world. That much is sure. And with hellsman gone the seas are no longer save! All the evil will start to show itself now..".

You walked to the corner of the town van mentioned. Finding a ship, a big ship. And at the harbor some crew members stood around. You walked up to one of them. He was rather goodlooking. Very goodlooking actually. "Ay, where can I find captain morgan?", you asked the boy infront of you. The goodlooking boy turned to you, clearly checking you out. Then he smirked, this damn smirk, it would haunt you in the best ways possible, "Are you sure you aren't looking for me, love?", he answered. He was goodlooking and charming?? No fair!!

You giggeled and smirked back, "Aren't you charming?~ But you can't allow me to join the crew can you, charmer?", you flirted right back. He looked stunned. Seems like you left him speachless. Cute~. "Captain morgan is inside the bar. Will you tell me why a beautiful lady wants to join a pirate crew?", he asked, his eyes locked on you. "Mhh yes I will charmer~", you leaned in and whispered, " To look at goodlooking boys like you~", you smirked and walked past him. Entering the bar you looked around. This bar was also empty. Seriously how do these bars even make money??

The boy stood still for a second. Processing what just went down. Then he turned around to look at the door of the bar. "Why does it feel like I just had a conversation with myself?", he asked confused, but his eyes showed interest.

A sword was pointed to you but you stood still, keeping calm. Your necklace didn't act up so the person holding the sword didn't want to hurt you. A man with one blind eye looked at you, " I thought I told everyone not to enter. Yet I hear foodsteps outside which means you must be either deaf or a drunkkard", the man said, looking at you. "I'm here to look for captain morgan. I hear he was a good friend of my father", you explained, not moving but looking down at your sword. "Well he is right infront of you. Tell me the name of your father and he will give you his answer!", the man answered, still holding the sword up to you. "Hellsman", you said and the moment that name left your mouth the sword dropped and it was back in it's sheats. "You could've said that in the beginning. Long time no see reader! Last time I saw you, you were still a baby. Not that you would've any memory of it haha. What brings you to me? Did your father send you?", captain morgan asked as he laughed and leaned back against the bar behind him.

This question. Again. You sighed. "No. Sadly not captain morgan. My father.. he got killed. By salazar. I managed to escape since he protected me. But salazar is still after my live. I need to leave this island as soon as possible. Uncle van told me about you", you told him, playing nervous with your fingers. The man infront of you left out a curse and hit his hand on the table, "Fucking bastard!".

But then he turned around with a softer look in eyes, "I'm sorry couldn't control my emotions there. So you here to ask me if you can sail with us?", the captain asked with a smile on his face. "I'm here to ask if I can join your crew! I'm not asking for special treatment! I can fight, navigate, steer the ship, read and write, I can work like all the others! My father teached me all of it!", you quickly added, thinking of how else you could be usefull. But the captain infront of you just laughed and patted your shoulder gently. "Your my friends daughter how could I ever make you work like a slave? Of course you can join and sail with us. I don't doubt your strength or your smarts. You probably stronger than all of them together!", captain morgan laughed and smiled at you.

You smiled brighter and felt happy for once in days. "Thank you so so much captain morgan!", you said with a big smile. "Well then come! Let's board the ship. I'm done here anyway. I'll introduce and show you around the ship!", so the captain walked out of the door and to his ship. You followed his every step. "Oi boy! Tell the others we are to set sail! All on board!", captain morgan said to one boy, which then went to gather everyone.

Walking on the ship you looked around. "This is my ship! The 'wicked wench'! Welcome aboard!", captain morgan introduced you and showed you every corner of the ship. "She is such a mesmerizing ship! A beautiful one. But not as beutiful as the polar sky mind you!", you said and smiled. This made the captain laugh, "I believe in your eyes no ship could ever compare to the polar sky!", he teased you.

Ohh how wrong he was! There was one! But that is a tale for the future!

"Ay crew listen! This here is our newest crew member! Reader! Her father is a good friend of mine so is she! If any of you start a fight with her, you start a fight me alright?!", captain morgan introduced you to the crew members. "Ay sir!!", was heard. You hit the captains shoulder and laughed, "Stop that! You're scaring them!", with that you turned to crew members and grinned, "I'm a pirate like you just treat me like one of you!", you said. Captain morgan just laughed in the back.

A while later you all got ready to set sail. "Reader can you deal with the sails? You there! Lad! Help her!", captain morgan commanded or asked? You nodded, "Ay captain". You got ready to climb up before you looked over at the boy next to you, "Oi boy! Let's do a race! Who is first up owns the other a drink!", you grinned, ready to start. The boy first looked confused but soon joined in.

"Won!!", you yelled having raised the sails first as you laughed and looked to the boy. "Looks like you owe me a drink!", you laughed and used the rope to swing and jump down. Landing gentle on the deck. The other crew members just laughed at this scenario. But one looked at you with interest. With wonder.

Captain morgan watched you and chuckled to himself, "Trouble just like her father", with that he got ready to steer the ship towards the open sea.

The boy came to you with a drink, holding the cup out to you, "H-Here miss your drink", he said. You looked confused, "Aren't you geting a drink too?", "N-No I- uhh", "Ohh are you under age?", you asked, "Noo but-", "Don't tell me you have rules for drinking here?", you sighed. "No no miss! I thought I lost soo.. no drink for me?", the boy said. You looked at him, "Who said you can't also have a drink? You didn't lose you were just a bit slow! Let's go and get you a drink too, savey?", you smiled and took the cup from the boy. Which looked at you with a bright smile now.

After you had your drinks another boy suddenly stepped up to you, "Miss why did you want to 'join' our crew?", he asked. Clearly questioning your reasons for beeing here. You could tell at the look on his face and the necklace vibrating around your neck. So he wants a fight huh? You thought but smiled instead, "I needed to leave the island as soon as possible and heard a good friend of my father was around. So I asked if I could join. Now I'm here. End of story?", you explained. "Ay I heard! But why say you're a pirate?", he asks. You sighed, "Because I am a pirate?", you answered and added in, "But thats not what you want to hear you want to fight me, to see if I'm worthy of joining the crew right?".

The boy looked serious at you and nodded, "Why are you scared?", he asked. You laughed at that and put your cup down. "Captain morgan permission to fight one of your crewmates?", you yelled as you walked in the middle of the ship. The boy following you, accepting your challenge. "Granted! But reader DON'T kill him! I still need him", captain morgan said, steering the ship. Already knowing who would win, but he couldn't help himself he wanted to see your abilities and you fighting with your fathers sword. You nodded, "I'm not my father captain! I won't go overboard", you said and pulled your sword.

The fight had started. The boy ran up to you, swinging his sword at you, you dodged all of his moves. They were way to obvious. The next one you blocked and then you attacked. Pushing him father in a corner. But he blocked your attacks. Not bad, you thought. But not good enough. The next attack you dodged by jumping on the side of the ship, to push you off the wall and land behind him. But he was fast and blocked your attack. This time he pushed you back. Attack after attack. Making you dodge all of them. "Whats wrong 'pirate' you only dodging now?", the boy said, mocking you.

"Captain who do you think will win this fight?", a boy asked. "Well jack what do you think?", captain morgan asked back. Jack looked back to you, "Reader will win. Who is she?", jack asked his captain, clearly interested in your skills. Captain morgan nodded, "Ay jack. Captain Hellsman's daughter. He liked to call her 'the compass of the sea'. He always spoke of her with such pride", captain morgan leaned against the wheel as he told jack about you.

The boy was mocking you? Well it was fun. Time for the finishing move. Having enough you dodged the next move by kneeing down you did a slide underneath his legs and from below you aimed right at his hand, the place he held his sword in. And with one swing of your sword the boys weapon landed somewhere infront of him on the deck. Unarmed he looked at you in shock. As you got up behind him and pointed your sword at his neck. "Pirate! You see now?", you asked.

" THAT MOVE!!-", captain morgan gasped in suprise. "It's brilliant! How did she do that?", jack asked, looking at you with almost sparkling eyes. It was strange, everything about you captivated him. Pulled him in and kept him there. "That was her fathers special and most feared move. An unpredictable move that without a doubt always unarms the enemys!", captain morgan described remembering the old times.

Not wanting to accept this another crew member slammed your sword out of your hands. Your necklace pullsed fiercly. You were in danger, but now it would prove itself if your fathers sword truly had chosen you! The other upset crew member swang his sword right at you.

"CAPTAIN! SHE WILL-", jack took a step forward in shock. "Not yet! She won't lose with that sword!", morgan said holding jack back.

And within seconds the sword moved on its own and flew full speed back into your hand. It vibrated strongly. And with that you blocked the attack and the crew member dropped his sword and held his hand pain. Looking scared at you. You pointed the sword up, "Anyone else?".

"What is that sword?", jack asked suprised. He couldn't wait for the captain to finally explain. "That is the sword of readers father. Or it once was. It clearly choose it's new master. That much is obvious! It's name is 'Cerberus' and also where captain hellsman got his name from. A tale described cerberus to be the dog of the underworld. That sword is cursed and readers father, hellsman was the only and first one to ever fight with it! It chooses it's owner not the other way around!", captain morgan explained.

"W-Witch!", the crew member yelled. "No! Pirate!", you answered. "You are a witch!", the boy said again. "Pirate!", you answered. " W-", the boy started but a familiar voice cut him off, "Oi there is no need for name calling! You clearly lost the fight!". It was the boy again! The charmer infront of the bar! "Jack can't you see she is cursed? She will curse us all-", " The only curse here is your horror storys mate", jack answered, standing next to you. "She has cursed you jack! Jack you acting strange!", the boy said. "He always acts strange?", another boy answered from the crownest. He dressed very elegant? While jack's clothes seemed wild and free. "I do not!", jack answered, "You do!", "I don't,", "Witch!", " No pirate!", "Witch!", " Pirate!!"

This continued until Captain morgan was  stepping up, "ENOUGH! As everyone can see she is a seasoned fighter and pirate! Fighting time is over lads!", morgan yelled. "Ayyy captain!!", the crew members yelled and in haste went back to their work.

You put away 'cerberus' and patted it twice so it calmed down. Before walking up to the captain. Jack and the elegant boy followed. "Say reader what is that sword exactly?", jack asked eyeing cerberus. You grinned,

"Why so that you can steal it?", you asked. "N-No.. No reason!", jack stuttered, biting his hand looking away. "Of course you want to steal it! Like you always do!", the other boy said. "That is no true hector!", jack said offended. "Sure I'll tell you charmer~", you smiled at jack. Both boys looked at you. "Why would you tell a thief your secret?", asked hector confused. "Because that sword, cerberus can't be stolen!", captain morgan answered the question. Which made you nod your head.

"You could steal it but it won't be of any use to you or to that person you would sell it to, if you're thinking like that. Cerberus is a cursed sword. It doesn't listen to anyone. My father was the first and only one it ever listened to. It only chooses one and follows that persons commands until their death. After that it chooses a new person. It won't listen to anyone else and at the next moment possible find itself back to his owner!", you explained as you caressed over the sheat twice again. You looked back up. Hector looked not happy with that explaination.

"Do you want to hold it hector?", you asked. "Reader!", captain morgan warned you. "Don't worry captain, cerberus doesn't harm as long as it's owner is save. I also carried cerberus around as I was little and it refused me but never hurt me!", you smiled. "I want to! I don't believe in curses!", hector said holding out his hands. "Here", you said putting cerberus in hectors hand. Jack quickly run to your side and hid behind you. "What are you doing?", you asked jack. "It's safer here! I don't wanna stand next to hector-", jack explained, looking over your shoulder. "There is nothing to worry about-", you answered with a laugh but got cut off.

In the next second the sword started to shake strongly. Trying to escape hectors grip. "Woahh!!-", hector yelled as cerberus moved to you and almost pulled hector over, making him fall to his knees infront you. Jack and captain morgan started to laugh. And you giggeled. "See? Cerberus is just a loyal sword!", you praised the sword. And with that cerberus started to vibrate. Making hector drop it to the floor, "Ouch! Hot! It burned my hands!", hector cursed. Cerberus jumped back into your hands and you patted it twice, putting it back on your waist. Jack and captain morgan still laughed at the confused hector. You started to laugh too, "I told you so. Poor hector has to start believing in curses now", you laughed. Jack placed an arm around you and grinned, "Hector lost his mind just witnessing that", with that you both laughed more. "Can't you both take one thing seriously??", hector asked annoyed and got up from the floor.

This cheerfull moment made you forget all the bad stuff that had happened over the last few days. It was a refresher and a new start!

~~~ Some time later ~~~

"Reader can you come here real quick?", captain morgan asked as he held a map, jack standing next to him. You walked over to them. "Here captain!", you said. " Good! I thought it would be good to tell you our course! We will sail to the devils triangle! Did you sail this way before?", captain morgan asked you. Ahh.. this place again. The place you lost everything and barely managed to escape with your live. Yet you nodded at the question,  "Yes twice. Can I help with something?". " Can you draw on the map where we should avoid and how to sail the best?", the captain asked, handing you a map.

Taking a look at the map and taking the pen next to it, "Sure! My father said there are three areas to avoid! The front and the sides. Sides in: Don't sail to close to the island! It is to shallow, you would get stuck. Sail farther out on the sea there is the water deep. I mean VERY far out on the sea! The front is the most dangerous tho! There are everywhere rocks that grow from the bottom of the sea. You won't see them from above, especially at night time! Best is to avoid the front a mile before it!", you explained, drawing the spots on the map. "That is great information!", morgan said, praising you. "But how do we know when we should change the course infront of the island?", asked hector. Oh he was here too! You were so focused you didn't even see him there. "Thats simple hector! There, on the left side is a sharp rock, just one tall one. It's kind of like a warning sign. You see that, you change your course!", you answered.

" Why are we not just sailing from the other side where it's save anyway?", a good question asked by the handsome jack. Captain morgan and you looked at each other and nodded, you both shrugged.  "We can't sail that way jack! How will we sail all around the world to get to the other side??", hector the reasonable one said it as it is. You and morgan looked at each other again and nodded both your heads in agreement. "And why don't we just sail infront of the island and make a turn before we all crash and die?", jack asked again, picking up the map and looking at it closer. "Because there are stones everywhere jack! With a big ship like this you would crash and drown!", hector answered the confused pirate. Once again you and the captain just nodded.

"Great! Then everything is clear!", jack smiled proudly and walked away. Hector rolled his eye and you laughed calling out to jack, " Thanks for the help charmer~". Jack turned around again and winked at you. Making you wave your hands infront of your face while laughing. Hector made a chocking sound, "I just lost 10 years of my live seeing that", he turned around. And captain morgan just studied the map, before looking back up at you, "Thank you reader. We can work with this. Rest a bit and try to sort your thoughts mhh?", with that he left back to the helm.

Having some time to yourself you sat on the rails of the ship. Holding on to the ropes and looking at waves crashing and the stars above. It was night time already huh? Time moved so fast. It had been 3 days already since you had lost everything. 3 days since your live was turned upside down. 3 days since you saw your beloved ship burn down. It was a lot. You lost your home. Not because you had a roof over your head but in sense that you had a place to come back too. That was all gone now. You were alone. A compass lost at sea. With a course that wasn't her own. Tears in your eyes you locked at the stars above. You felt so lost. And in that moment-

"Ay love, are you counting the stars? Which one do you want I'll get it for you~", jacks voice cut through your thoughts. You looked up at him and giggeled, "Ay charmer, what nonsense are you spouting? How can you get a star for me?",  uncried tears running over your cheeks. Jack leanded over you, pressing his chest against your back and whispered in your ear, "Look down beautiful". So you did and you couldn't believe what you saw. The sea sparkled in a  bright blue light, making the ground beneath visible. It looked like many golden stars sparkling in the sea, rising towards the surfice and fainting.

"This is incredible jack!!", you smiled and your tears stopped. Jack smiled and sat down next to you. "Just like you love. Not everything is lost. Beyond the horizon waits a new location!", looking at the beautfiul sight before us, jack grinned at me. "Here love, to us and our first adventure together!", jack gave you a cup of rum, taking a sip of his own. You smiled at him. You werent lonely. Just lost. But jack was right. So you took your cup and also took a sip from it, "To our beloved horizon charmer", you smiled back at him.

He fits perfectly to sidney, the most popular girl in hufflepuff, at least everyone thought so. You too. But what if tom's eyes were always onto someone else? Someone which he called 'the only one worthy'? What if your whole live is a lie? Your friends die left and right, professors disappear and your best friend is against you? Will you ever find out why or who is behind it?

~ Prolog ~

--- The door slammed shut. You just didn't understand. As you walked down the hallway your thoughts were running wild. Tears streamed down your face. You didn't know out of anger or sadness. With shaky breath you recalled the situation that just took place infront of your very own eyes:

"I can understand your curiosity. But I think you should give up your pursuing and just accept it! It's way to dangerous! You live a peacefull live, don't you think it would be better if it stays that way?", says profesor Dumbledor, who sat on his table, drinking his tea. You shook your head and gave him a serious glare, "No I can't do that! It's just not fair! How can I live peacefull live when..", you bit your lip to hold back the tears, "when... I have to find out what happened! If there is a murderer on loose then he needs to face judgement! Who knows maybe he wants me dead too?!", you hissed, slamming your hand on the table.

Dumbledor took another sip of his tea as if your outburst of emotions didn't bother him at all. "And what are you going to do then? Won't you walk directly into his arms if you search for him? It really would be the best if you just remain calm and let the past be in the past! The world will just lose another wonderfull wizard. It would be a pity...", he ended his sentence with a warning glare towards you. You couldn't believe what you just heard. The anger was slowly boiling over inside you. "I thought you would be on my side! But I believe I made a mistake! You completly underestimated me. I'm not going to die that easily! If you would excuse me... I'm leaving now!", with that you stood up and left the classroom. ---

With a sigh you sat down on a bench in the garden and looked up into the sky. Many thoughts crossed your mind. One of them was your past, back when you were really young...

~ Past ~

It was a rainy day, you sat on a huge window in the attic of the Wool's orphanage and looked outside. As long as you can think, you always have been here. Everyday you sat here, on the huge window or in the small library. You didn't really like the other children but you neither hadn't any issues with them. At least they left you be. Everyday you asked yourself the same question. Where were your parents? Why are you here? Did they abandon you? Why?

The question was faster answered than you had expected. "You want to tell me something, right?", you said as you turned around just to look at the nervous eyes of the supervisor, mrs cole. "W-What?.. Y-Yes how did you know?", she asked with a unsure glim in her eyes as she looked at the floor. 'Is she scared of me?', you asked yourself. You smiled softly, "Mrs, you're standing there since 10 minutes, starring at me. Besides you're a really nervous. What's wrong?", you asked as you inspect her body language.  Mhh, it must be something terrible. She has the same body language as last week when so many horrible things happened.

"Oh.. y-yes.. I want to tell you the truth because I think you're old enough now. Can I sit next to you?", mrs cole asked as she was just about to jump into your arms. You nodded and she walked towards you, sat down next to you. "You always asked me where your parents are, do you remember? I'm sorry that I didn't want to answer this question. But you were just to young... Anyway.. do you want to know the truth about your parents?", she asked as she looked at you while playing with her hands. Clear nervous behavior. So it can only be the worst. You placed your hand on her's and gave a nod, "Please mrs cole, tell me everything that you know!", you said with expecting eyes. "You grew up here as a baby, your parents sadly died a few days after your birth. No one knows how or why it happened. A man brought you here, to the orphanage!...  I'm so sorry!", mrs cole told you, her eyes geting wet, suddenly hugging you. It wasn't a suprise, you already thought that might be the case.

It's really sad. Yet you didn't feel anything. No sadness, no anger, nothing. Maybe you already had accepted it? Instead mrs cole cried for you. So you hugged her too, "Mrs you're not the one to blame. Please don't cry. It's alright. Who was the man that brought me here?", you asked curiously, like always. She let go of you just to look at you in shock but answered quickly, "I forgot his name. But he is visiting tomorrow. He wrote me a letter, he asked e to tell you the truth. He wants to visit you tomorrow. You can ask him yourself for more details tomorrow". A bright smile formed on your lips. A visitor? Finally something new! It was always so boring here, you couldn't wait!

"But... aren't you sad at all? It's okay to cry.", added mrs cole. You shoke your head and looked at her. "Thank you for telling me the truth but I already expected something like this. I'm not sad. I'm happy to get a visitor tomorrow!", you smiled and walked past her.

~ Past End ~

The memory made you laugh a bit. This was the first time you met profesor Dumbledor. You were so lost in thought that you didn't notice how a familiar voice called your name, "Hey?! Are you even listening??"

Quickly sitting up and looking in the 3 faces infront of you. "She is day dreaming again. From which boy are you dreaming mhh?~", myrtle asked, sitting down next to you on the bench. "Are you sure she wasn't bitten by a wild animal?", hagrid knealed down infront of you and looked at you worried. "What?? No!! Right?? Say something!! "We should go to the hall now, dinner is waiting", hagrid said and helped you stand up. Sidney stepped next to you and toke your arm, holding on to it. "Don't you have to feed Doren first?", you remind hagrid. Doren is hagrids hidden baby-dragon who lives in forbidden forest. "No... I might have.. sneaked out on noon and feed him. So he will be okay until tonight!", hagrid smiled and scratched his neck. This made you all laugh. "At least you didn't forget it this time. Poor Doren~", sidney teased him a bit. Hagrid just sighed and rolled his eyes. You looked at myrtle, she seemed quiet. Knowing what she was thinking about you held your hand towards her, "Come myrtle, you can sit with us! Take my arm!~", you said with a understanding smile. After hesitating a bit myrtle stood up and took your other arm. Hagrid walked in the front and you three behind him. "On which table should we sit today?", you asked. "Not ravemclaw! I don't wanna hear their stupid comments!", myrtle said and looked at the ground. "Hufflepuff, they are all very understanding?", sidney smiled at us. "Because they have the best example!", grinned hagrid, who walked backwarts to look at us. "Well of course! I'm always the best example! Hehe~", sidney laughed. "Hufflepuff it is then!", you added and giggled.

Your conversation was still heard far away as the sun was going down. Suddenly a creepy feeling overcame you. You let go of the others and stayed still. You felt watched. But you didn't see anyone in that slowly dawning light. One step forward, you looked around the corner. Already having your wand ready to attack. Nothing. Nobody. Just dead silence. This silence told you to run. Instead you looked down, you had stepped on something.

A black rose!

"Hey riddle! Where have you been?-", a voice was heared which was cut off.

Even after your smart thinking you failed to notice the shadow hiding behind the wall, walking into the now shining moonlight. A smirk played on his lips. As he played around with his ring, he looked after you. "A black rose, beautiful and special like you~", he whispered bevore he also walked in the same direction.
