The stripe drawings exhibited in Eizo Nishio: Drawings 2011-2012 explore a new and uncharted possibility of abstract through a study of the complex and richly varying colors and contrast created by concentration of simple lines. The book also includes other works, such as overdrawing More.and collage on stripe drawing, combine of separate drawings with computer graphics, and shaped canvas drawing. The artist himself edited and designed the book. Eizo Nishio is a Japanese artist and his work is based on minimal art.
