Y’all do know once Sarah announces Elain’s book, it’s a given that Azriel is who she ends up with, right?
Sarah said the next books in the series will only revolve around couples and their povs. So we won’t be getting multiple povs, just the two mcs for each book.
Since this is the case, there would be no reason for Sarah to introduce Azriel’s pov/thoughts and not continue them. There would be no reason for her to open up his pov if she was not gonna continue it in the next book. Like what, we’d get his pov briefly and then never get his pov till many years later (if he were to even get a book)? How does that make sense? It doesn’t. If we were getting Elucien, Sarah would have given us Lucien’s pov to get a glimpse and get us prepared for his pov in the next book, yet we got Azriel’s pov. And we know Elain’s book is next. It makes the most sense.
