The strength of “The Wire” (S02E22, Stardate Unknown) is that it allows Bashir and Garak to flesh out both their relationship and Garak's backstory at a pace that is not rushed. Odo and Quark both offer some levity and helpful moments, and Enabran Tain is a tremendous gift. A nearly perfect episode.
