This hummus dip is the perfect appetizer for any occasion. Creamy, flavorful, and incredibly easy to make, it's sure to be a hit with your guests.
Ingredients: 1 can 15 ounces chickpeas, drained and rinsed. 3 tablespoons tahini. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 2 tablespoons lemon juice. 2 tablespoons olive oil. 1/2 teaspoon cumin. Salt and pepper to taste. 2 tablespoons water adjust for desired consistency. Optional toppings: olive oil, paprika, chopped parsley.
Instructions: Put the chickpeas, tahini, garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, cumin, salt, and pepper in a food processor and blend them together. Scrape down the sides of the bowl as needed to make the mixture smooth. Slowly add water until the consistency you want is reached. Put the hummus in a bowl for serving and drizzle it with olive oil. If you want, you can sprinkle with paprika and chopped parsley. Put it out with crackers, vegetables, or pita chips.
