I must ask... What is a pyrefly? I'm merely curious.

Well... Those who are not from Spira may not know that a pyrefly is not a type of fly at all! It is a manifestation of lifeforce -- spiritual energy, if you will. They can become a great number of things... like Fiends. Other pyreflies simply linger, usually in places where many deaths have occurred or where they are lured by strong memories.

Admittedly, it's... a little difficult to explain for those who aren't familiar with them. Most associate pyreflies with the souls of the dead, but through my pilgrimage and my time with the Gullwings, I've discovered that they can cause both terrible and wondrous things to happen.
