It feels like a lot of your weekends have been spent indoors, with video games and graphic novels. Not that you’re complaining, but it wouldn’t kill you to be social... 

With that in mind, you pulled out your phone and looked through your contacts. Most of them were peers from school, only to be texted in times of need. Which was to say, if you missed an assignment. Not really people you could just invite out. 

Scrolling back to the top of the list, you settled on a safe bet. You two had hung out a few times already, so it was probably okay.
