Update (Third person POV) ~ Rachel’s receives a unexpected surprise visit from her brother, who she hasn’t seen for years. Tells him about the engagement, expecting him to be angry but receive a surprising gift from him.
I woken up in the morning after having the surprising shock phone call a few days ago, still felt a little weird after it. Jayden supported me over the next few days and trying to calm me down. I haven’t spend days around the horses, Jayden thought i might have given up equestrian. The last few days i was depressed and stressed.
I was sitting on the couch in the front living room, watching tv and look out of the window seeing some of our horses in the arena. We were growing in horse numbers and i glad we have two facilities running. Then the unexpected visit happen when the door bell ring. I saw Jayden went to open the front door, “Is this where i find a girl named Rachel”, i heard someone ask.
“Yes, come in, she in the living room”, i heard Jayden replied. I looked towards the entrance of the living room when i saw a unfamiliar man standing at the entrance, with brownish blonde long hair. I stood up, thinking who was this person, “Who are you”, i asked.
“I’m Jace Stone and i’m your brother”, Jace said when i smiled, i could felt tears wetting my cheek when i finally saw my brother again. He came up and gave me a tight hug when i started to cry and buried my head into his shirt, “I’m so happy to see you, can’t believe i had a brother this all time”, i said.
“Same too”, he replied when he looked at me again and touched my hand, that was when i could felt him touching my engagement ring, “Did you get biten by something”, he asked.
“Hmm no”, i replied, How was i supposed to tell him, i was going to wait until after, i thought.
He looked at my hand seeing the engagement ring, “Your engaged”, he asked.
“Yea surprise”, i replied.
“I heard you started a equestrian center”, he asked.
“Yes i have”, i replied, “Do you want to see what we been working on with our horses”.
“Sure”, he replied. After Jayden and i told Jace about a few of our mares being pregnant and we were expecting foals soon, we were pretty excited about it. We told him why we named our equestrian center ‘Silverwood Equestrian’. He was surprised on how many horses we have adopted in only a year and a bit of opening, how many facilities we had. I told Jace, we wanted to rebuild our facilities or given our current facities a makeover. I was shocked when he told us he could help us rebuild our facilities, we were pretty happy about it. I decided after i wanted him to stay in our Silverwood family and he agreed.
In the afternoon, Jace told me he had a surprise for me, waiting in the stables. I told him, Jayden and i were going to train two of our best horses; TJS Hot Legz and TJS Ninamch for a while, and i ask for him to join, which he did. We took our two horses to the stables and placed them in the arena to tack up while Jace went to the stables and grab my surprise gift.
After tacking up TJS Hot Legz, i looked over and saw Jace bring a chestnut mare into the arena, she was beautiful and very tall, “omg, you didn’t”, i asked.
“I did, a special gift for my younger sister”, he replied, “I heard about your old horse Stardust and i’m sorry to hear, i know you loved her so much”.
“This is your new horse TJS Star, Hanoverian Chestnut mare”, he said, “I know she looks like Stardust but i want to give you a horse with the same personality and looks similar to Stardust”.
“Thank you”, i said as i came up and hug him again and got to know TJS Star, she was very friendly and generous. I loved her to bits. Jace decided he want to give it a try in the saddle, so i let him mount in TJS Hot Legz saddle, the stallion i been working with for months. I was surprised the boy were getting on so well. I decided to ride TJS Star and she was amazing, I was surprised Jace knew a bit about horse riding <3 <3 <3
