made a poll about what sims 4 builds people look for on the gallery. The reason is, i really like making builds, but I don't do much actual gameplay, and I'm starting to feel some type of way about building for actual use

Here's a build I did not too long ago, meant for a mermaid legacy

the idea is to have a rooftop infinity pool that waterfalls into a wrap around ground level pool and creates a giant aquarium on the middle floor.

The roof pool goes directly into a master bedroom designed for a mermaid, so you can swim under the ivy-covered window/wall directly into the room (which also makes an in-room body of water for a mermaid to sleep in)

The floor below is a library/study with the pool/aquarium along one wall, featuring several kinds of fish, tiny to large, as well as turtles and an alligator

(it looks a lot cooler when all the creatures are swimming around)

the ground floor has a garage (i like to include garages, and i usually stack a few cars so anyone downloading off the gallery can easily select which cars they want)

i often put a woodworking bench in the garage, or a washer and dryer (or both) so that it's a room the sims will actually use - in this case i have a separate laundry room

and then there's a large open living area with a decent kitchen and some bedrooms etc

the point is, for a mermaid home i wanted every level/floor to have water features (please excuse the burnt up deck table, there was a lightning strike while i was doing a little play-testing lol)

dude, i spent so long trying to make these waterfall features -- they turned out okay, but i don't know if i'll ever try again for another build

anyway, i make builds like this and then they don't really get used much, so i made a poll to try to see what people look for on the gallery. I'll probably make a couple more polls about it
