We don’t get to see Braden very often. But the family decided due to that they’d invite him to the spice fest. Braden was practicing dribbling and other fancy work with a basketball.

Sora!!! Where have you been buddy? In this case, that’s not Sora. That is Caleb in his outdoor wear. Could have fooled, oh wait. It did fool me! Someone has been playing a little too much Kingdom Hearts lately. But I digress, isn’t he cute in his Sora outfit?

The Three P’s!

Hi, Blake again. Today a modern-looking bar was delivered and set up for us. I asked Caleb why and he replied, “I have read that there are special drinks that can be prepared for vampires.”

I thought about it, “Special like how?”

“Ah! Special as in I may be able to cure my vampirism and become fully human again. It may take me many years to find the correct mixture of things but I like the possibility of not outliving you. I would love to grow old with you”, he said in a passionate voice.

I thought about it for a while. Growing old together did sound good. But not growing old sounded better. I would have to start working on learning more about potions.

Blake was growing day by day. He went from babbling to talking so quickly it amazed his parents. He was also so self-sufficient that he did most things on his own. He did ask to play with the older children and also ask them about things. You know the usual. Talk about dinosaurs, princes/princess’, tell bad knock-knock jokes. The normal child fare. This day I caught him talking to his own image in the mirror about life. He went from sad to happy doing just that. 

Blake: And when I get as tall as the measuring board, I can go to school! At school, I am going to make a lot of friends! It will be great! We’ll play all day together! I can’t wait!

And in a few days' time, he wouldn’t have to wait any longer.

Today me and Kylee both had the day off so we were just hanging around the house. Then Zoe, my sister’s best friend, decided to drop by and we had a great chat on the couch. She’s a pretty cool girl. I can see why my sister loves to hang out with her!
