So my thought process was, if I'm gonna have at least 4 kids (in the sims)(fuck you for voting that- granted I put it there and knew it could be a possibility, thus willing to do it), I'd do tropey archetypes for each sibling; i'm thinking: jock (football or cheerleader in high school), goth (punkass outcast), prep/overachiever (valedictorian in high school), and geek (programmer/gamer)
Well, first baby was born and it's a boy. I decided he'd be the jock. So I named him Jacques 💀

Yep, he’s just sitting in the Castle collecting taxes but once I crown a Monarch I’ll move him out somewhere, either to a Royal Apartment or his own Manor, and get him in the rotation.

Bodyshop just compresses the files when it imports them back (and then you can usually compress them further with the Compressorizor). When you build DXT, the filesize is just not compressed anymore cause there's new information, so the only way around it is to use the compressorizor, but the final file size shouldn't be any bigger than if you had done the change in Bodyshop. That's my experience at least
Well, it certainly makes sense that Bodyshop would compress files, given that it makes files that include about a trillion images! :) So annoying. So yeah, you have to do the extra step of compressorizing when you make retextures outside of Bodyshop, but to me that’s much less annoying than having to overwrite a couple dozen images to make one recolor. :p

Goopy and Sandy's genes still going strong!
Sandy’s lips and jawline seem especially strong, which makes me happy. Goopy’s nose, too. This is pretty much why I play this sort of neighborhood, where all the playables are descended from a single person or pair, to see how long distinctive facial characteristics stay in the gene pool before getting bred out. Where I am in playing (as opposed to what I’ve posted here), the 4th born-in-game generation is being born and things are still going strong on that front. Of course at that point, more distantly-related individuals (like second cousins) can interbreed because the game no longer recognizes them as family, which helps with preserving characteristics if you’re not squeamish about a little pixel inbreeding. :)

I dunno about “predator.” As an ex-mascot, he barges into houses. (Well, OK, everyone does in this neighborhood, not just ex-mascots.) This wasn’t the first time. Pretty much each time he’s been there, Allison’s flirted up a storm with him and they had mutual crushes before the Hot Tub Incident happened. They have pretty much identical personalities, as well. He was actually going to be her first date, but when she called, he was at work, so she went out with the other guy instead. Ultimately, personality and aspiration-wise, Llama Dude is a better match for her, though, and he’s not much older than her so...Yeah.
THAT said, it turns out that Llama Dude isn’t very...hmmm...faithful? Monogamy doesn’t seem to be his thing at all. Let’s just say that it’s a good thing the STDs aren’t a thing in pixel world. ;)

Yeah, it’s an one from T$R. Its mapping is quite terrible, though. :P I did recolors of it here that take advantage of the texture stretching. The mesh is included with the recolors, so if you want just that you wouldn’t have to go into the swamp that is T$R to get it. :) Unless you want the original recolors of it, but they’re pretty stretchy so...eh.

I have a strange fondness for elder dogs in the game. I mean, it’s not like they behave any differently or anything. I just love their graying faces for some reason. Of course, I have a similar fondness for old dogs in real life, so I guess it’s not surprising. :)
And yes! Fluffy! When his family’s kids were younger, they’d do the toddler cuddling and halfway disappear into his fur. It was so cute!
