I made this little house a while ago in @novapark‘s Sierra Del Sol world and @parystrange has taken a liking to it so I’m uploading it for her and anyone else who would like to download it.
I have done my best to remove CC objects/ patterns and store objects but apologies if I have missed anything. Originally I used windows and objects from the Fabulous Fiesta kitchen and dining room stuff packs so if you have those go ahead and switch things out with that stuff. As you might notice I have used plants (and Curtains by Dave, not sure what I was thinking but anyway) from Lucky Palms so if you don’t have that there will be missing or replaced items. That’s the only Store items used I think and there are no Into The Future or Supernatural items.
I’m not that happy with the interior floorplan so please don’t hesitate to change that to your liking. Furnishing is minimal for that reason.
It’s 30x20 and the plot may be very slightly wonky at the back edge when placed due to the lot I placed it in (in a different world) while editing and I didn’t notice until I had finished, sorry about that.
I hope I have remembered everything! Do what you like with it, just don’t claim as your own, thank you!

Uff, a poem written by a child in 18th century Scottish English with French spelling is beyond my skill-level! I’m glad enough I managed this snippet! 😂 I imagine it as a mixture between “The Cow jumped over the Moon” from Lord of the Rings and the old English song “Summer is icumen in” though.

It’s the shoes! ;) Actually I travel comparatively little (I’ve never been out of Europe for example), but I always deeply enjoy it.
Furthering the topic of unlikeable / interesting characters, I just had a question about Roy, who I also find myself not liking much in some respects, but having respect for in other situations. He likes to make nearly everything about himself, but would he be dependable as a friend? As in, the kind that you could call at 3am to come and pick you up because your car broke down an hour away and you're stuck? I'd just like to know if he'd drop everything to help out someone he called a friend.
Hehe I love your description of your feelings towards Roy! The world (and the sun, and the moon) certainly do all revolve around Roy Boy, but he does also pride himself on being a loyal and good friend to those he thinks are deserving of the honour. Examples include when he went to Freddie’s locker and removed all the cocaine that Freddie had stashed there (although he later had the bright idea of using the coke to set up Sonia’s ex-lover Gemma, his motives at the time were altruistic), and also when he voluntarily bought Joël a ticket to Isla Paradiso so that Joēl could patch things up with Mia. And it was Roy who insisted his mother go to rehab (and paid for it out of his own pocket) when the rest of the family tried to sweep her drinking problems under the carpet. If you let him down or betray him he will make your life hell, but he always has his friends’ backs. He would anything for Joël, especially. Thank you for the wonderful question, Pary!

Hahaha you never know what they’re going to like or dislike, right? I was worried she’d hate it but she was pretty damn happy and did NOT want to come back inside. Made me happy to see her rolling around in the grass and sniffing the wind and looking speculatively at trees.

What did you do to leash train her? I've had mine on leash and harness (prior to Australian Winter), and my only issue was that they keep taking off in different directions!
Sounds like you did ok then! Everything I read told me to expect that when we go outside, the cat will be walking ME and not the other way around. As in, cats will be cats and wander in their own direction and all you need to do is make sure they don’t go anywhere they shouldn’t and be quick on the reflexes to snatch them up if anything. I cannot imagine trying to walk two at once, just following her around was like navigating an obstacle course >.<
I started out by having her wear the harness for 5-10 minute intervals over the course of a month. She acted like I was killing her but she can be a bit dramatic. While she’s wearing it she’d get treats and playtime to associate the harness with fun. Just kept increasing the amount of time she would wear it over the next couple of months and the past 2 weeks have been her wearing it for an hour or so a day till she was walking around in it pretty comfortably. Took her outside and expected her to be scared but she had no hesitation and was off like a rocket lol.

Her daughter she claims to love so much is in the clutches of the filth monger Kit and his revolting piece of ass, and all she can think about is getting sex from West. Seriously, she has the stupidest priorities. I don't think the baby is in good hands with either of them, and its about damned time Theo did something.
I agree! Madeleine does have some very, VERY stupid impulses, and the choices she makes as a result often get her into a lot of trouble. However, she does care about her daughter, and in her own backwards sort of way is trying to do right by her. Why she believes winning Westley back is important to that goal should, hopefully, become more apparent in the next update or two, but for now please believe me when I say that while Maddie has made A LOT of stupid, selfish decisions in her time she does love her baby.
When you say that you don’t think Jane is in good hands with either of them, do you mean Kit and Maddie? Or Westley and Maddie? Just curious. :D But again, I do have to agree with you. Theodore needs to step up and take custody of his child. It would be the absolute best thing that could happen to her right now.

Bahahaha, I love this comment! So, so much! I smile every time I read it. :D Because yeah, I couldn’t agree with you more. If these two have any hope of a future together, they definitely need to communicate with each other better. With their voices AND their clothes on! :’) As for your point about Westley being the adult in their relationship, that is an incredibly astute observation. When they were together in the past, I think he probably enjoyed being the responsible one, but Maddie’s immaturity has reached a new low. So much so that even West has lost patience with her now.
But anyway, thank you for the comment! I really appreciate it. It’s readers like you that motivate me to keep writing, and that’s something that I am eternally grateful for. <3

I wish I read the whole story to put a proper comment here. But from what I've managed to read they most definitely have animalistic attraction which is understandably hard to withstand. But I also think it has something to do with her being an ex-addict. She replaces one source for getting high with another - drugs with sex. Like a way to run away from her problems.
Oh no, you’re so right! Maddie does have an addictive personality, and she absolutely uses sex as a way to run away and hide from her problems, just like she used to use cocaine as an escape when she was a teenager. She also has very low self-worth, and she believes that men only value her for what she can give them between the sheets (i.e. hot sex). Obviously that’s not true, at least not in Westley’s case, as even after they’d broken up the first time he befriended her again, but that belief is so ingrained in Madeleine’s subconscious that she can’t seem to understand or accept that she has anything else to offer him.
Nevertheless, none of that excuses her behavior in my opinion. She has the means to face her demons if she’d only try (the love and support of her stepmother for starters as well as Westley, too, if she hadn’t screwed him over so royally), but of course dealing with your issues is the *hard* path to take and so far she has done everything she can to just avoid avoid avoid.

It’s going to be a bit of a project, but I am hoping that sometime in January I’ll have time to post it there and make it readable again.

Okay as much as i love maddie & west and i'm hoping they have their happily ever after, i'm glad nothing further is happening at this point. Maddie needs to talk and explain and west needs to listen too so i hope they get everything out in the open because their relationship will be so much better off when they communicate with each other ;-;; maddie pls don't screw this up again
I don’t have much else to say, other than THIS! I know how much you want want them to get together (and I hope you know how much I appreciate it!), but you are so, so right. I main one, and I’m really pissed off.
It’s really infuriating, especially that there are multiple threads with pages upon pages explaining why this change shouldn’t happen and why it’s important to keep. And ZoS literally doesn’t communicate, at all.
The 2 class reps that have bothered to respond were either “eh, don’t like that part but overall this patch is good” or “lolololol but Bosmer parse so much better now”. How about “lolololol if I wanted to be a top-tier DPS I wouldn’t have picked Bosmer in the first place so that’s LITERALLY not the concern?”
I main a Breton so you’d think I would be happy with the changes (though other than just comparing raw stats on live vs PTS I haven’t really delved into how she’s affected) but, to me, they’ve really just kinda twisted stuff around. Sure, for the most part, dps parses are pretty comparable, but that shouldn’t come at the cost of racial identity.
