Usually I’d agree with you, but IF I were to buy them used, I’d get them from a trusted secondhand retailer that’s really generous on their return policy and gives three years of warranty for everything that you buy through them (and I’ve bought plenty of used electronics from them). I would, however, check beforehand whether I would have to ship the whole console back in case that happens or if they maybe exclude used Joy-Cons from their warranty (I sure as heck would if I were them).

Thank you for your input, guys. I’d probably mostly use the handheld mode (due to living situation) so... It might be worth looking into a pro controller for non-handheld sessions, though.

The issue with that is stores are not allowed to ask if a dog is a service animal. As long as the dogs have been socialized properly and are potty trained I honestly don't see the problem with it. I worked at Target for three years and saw people constantly coming in with dogs like that and they never caused any issues then entire time I was there. Most people I've seen won't bring they're dog in or let them walk around if they're unsure how they will act.

As a thing, I have less problem with somewhere like Target than a grocery store (provided that they aren’t in the grocery section). But, again, service dogs are supposed to have “service dog stuff’ attached (collars, leashes, vests, etc) to them where you know they are service dogs and the ADA says “No service dogs in carts”.

I am not anti-dog by any means (and yea, better than a hot car). This is more of federal laws state “no dogs” because it’s a health issue (again, grocery stores and dogs are carriers of salmonella) and, yes, under ADA laws a business employee is allowed to ask if the dog is a service animal (it’s also a federal offence to lie about it) and what task(s) the animal is trained for. Employees are NOT allowed to ask what your disability is. Now, if a company has a different policy than what is in the law, is a different story, but legally they are allowed to ask.

Most stores do not sanitize carts and who knows what the dog has dragged in (or if it’s a long haired dog, if their is poop stuck in it’s fur). I don’t want to put my groceries in a cart that has had strange dog cooties in it. Actually, I don’t want to put my groceries in a cart my dog has been in, and I know where he’s been ;)

I am also pretty sure that most stores do not carry the kind of liability insurance needed in case someone is bit by someones pet while in a store.

I think Sims 4 Studio can umerge packages now and the have batch fixes for a lot of problems you can try those first

Oh my GOSH you’re right!!! I just went to their site to confirm. This helps a LOT cos I have.... no idea where all my unmerged packages are lmao (also I have a lot of clayified  hair I NEED to get rid of and so many cc that i need to turn off random but figured I GOTTA LIVE FOR FUGGO TOWNIES) omg thank you so much for the heads up!!!!!!!

GAAAAAAH like the mattress thing is def clashy cc lmao I’m not sure which game broke that one but I just can’t figure out the counter one! Esp since I was using non-cc counters! I assume that means something is conflicting with it but STRESS. Hopefully it’s an easy fix to figure out cos woo boy i miss my game an I want to finally play with pets! 

Note to self: when u remerge ur CC, organize it better and KEEP THE UNMERGED SOMEWHERE EASY TO FIND YA NERD (or don’t cos now we can unmerge woohoo!)

Oh but you can change their appearance with the help of hacks like Sim Blender, or change them completly with SimPE (like their name, personnality, aspiration, etc.) You can use this plugin to make any Sims already in your neighborhood look exactly like a template Sim you have from BodyShop (http://www.moreawesomethanyou.com/smf/index.php?topic=3563.0)

i have all the noregen and antiredundancy mods, ive had them for years. idk if they work tho, ive never actually ever checked, so heres hoping!

i have a few mods that allows to me to change their appearances w/o bodyshop (thankfully, such a drag bodyshop doesnt like me). i cant open it, theres some kind of issue im experiencing with it. ive been chatting w/ some folks @ mts about it for a while since ive done everything i need to for it to open, it just would rather crash instead. :/ i have sims i want to share but i cant because bodyshop is an asshat.

i will absolutely check out that plugin after this play session! thank you <3

Sure! I was originally going to wait until the “founders” had passed away before uploading them, but considering I’ve never actually had a Sim reach elder life stage and pass away, that might never happen. :P There’s no reason why Annie and Jasper can’t go on to have fulfilling (or un-fulfilling? D:) lives in someone else’s game!

I’m extracting them in SimPE now, I should have them up tonight. :)
