Here’s Sebastian, modeling pose 4. Their cover story while in Lucky Palms, is that they’ve been asked to do a celebrity shoot for an upcoming music video, portions of which will be filmed here. It’s true... but of course they have another side-job to do while here as well... @dhalsims

I’ve been on a kick of making Sims for my game, just to keep on hand when needed as playables or immigrants or whatever. I’m by no means good at making Sims, but I’m better at it that I am in TS2 (which isn’t saying much! *laugh*), and I’m enjoying practicing. :) 

I started each of these with a random Sim spat out by CAS, keeping their general hair, eye, and skin color and the shape of their bodies, (aside from correcting some severe slider weirdness like...well, concave boobs on females *laugh* ) and then fiddled with them with face sliders and CC and all that. (The seventh one is a werewolf, so he gets funky yellow eyes using a different contact than the others.)

Doing this made me realize that I need to find some more hairs for black Sims. I only have the Maxis ones (and the one dreadlock style of those just doesn’t look good, IMO: it sits way too far back on the head) and one or two that I’ve downloaded, so for now it’s straightened hair for the black ladies and a lot of black guys with shaved/stubble hair. *eye roll* So, time to hair-hunt. :)

Saw the converted N7 Jacket by simtanico and I knew I HAD TO convert it over to TS4. It’s still WIP but it’s working so far ♥

Vinnie is driving a new girl called Alexis back to The Pony from a job in Alphaville when a call from Ray comes through on his hands-free, mercifully interrupting Alexis’ monologue about her ex boyfriend, and how half a dozen clairvoyants and psychics have said he’s her soulmate.

Alexis:... and this one lady, Madame Rubina, she even knew the first letter of his name? And that he had a back tattoo? Oh my God, like, how incredible is that. And she said we’re going to get married within the next 18 months and-  

Vinnie wonders if the client that Alexis just saw was subjected to the same incessant jabbering, and the thought causes a corner of his mouth to twitch briefly upwards. He grunts towards the phone.

Vinnie: Ray.

Ray: Where are you, man?

Vinnie: Close. Ten minutes away. 

Ray: There's someone here asking for you. Georgina?

Alexis: Are you okay, hun? You’ve gone as white as a sheet.
