Hi, pretty butterfly! I’m sorry I don’t know your name.

That’s honestly very kind of you to think about us like that, and I’m proud to report we totally figured out a solution.

We took that dumb clock back to the store!

And instead we all talked Cool Ken into getting one of those alarm clock watch thingys that vibrate on your wrist. It’s like really slim and just looks more like some athletic looking bracelet. Never would guess it’s an alarm clock honestly.

He got one in his favorite color, which is green by the way, and tried it out a few nights ago.

Dude. It was amazing. He woke up without any problems, and those of us who like to sleep in never heard him get up or anything. And we’re all happy about the new setup. It was perfect.

Dear Ken Diary,

First of all, I’m really frustrated because this is the second time I tried to do write a Ken Diary entry, and the first time was all fun and about holiday stuff, but I’m gonna have to save that for later because I’m frustrated and not in a good enough mood to talk about such happy things probably.

So instead! I’m gonna talk about Cool Ken’s BRAND NEW ALARM that wakes him up in the mornings because for SOME REASON he thinks he has to get up before ALL THE REST OF US.

SOME OF US KENS LIKE TO SLEEP IN. But not Cool Ken. Cool Ken is all about the early bird getting the worm stuff, but why would he want a worm? He’s not a bird, he’s a Ken.

Also this Ken decided not to tell anyone or at least didn’t tell me he got a new alarm clock with different alarm options to wake him up either. He likes to use different alarm sounds, depending on what he’s feeling like the night before. And the volume is so loud, and it’s not like it needs to be. He’s not a heavy sleeper or anything.

So far, we’ve all been woken up by a foghorn, a RED ALERT noise, something that sounds like wedding bells, an airhorn, and the one that causes the most panic, a high pitched shriek that says “WAKE UP!” Repeatedly.

I’ve never jerked out of sleep before, but that made me do that. And fall out of my bed. That is so not cool.

So the Kens are trying to figure out a solution for this loud early bird problem. I still think an alarm that hits him with a pillow should do the trick honestly.
