Bumblebabe Lookbook Challenge

Day 2: Goth

Now that I have finished the Bumblebabe Challenge, I need to say a couple of things. This challenge has been the most fun so far. It has been refreshing and enlightening.

You may think that I'm overreacting, but no. I usted to create thin and slim sims, sometimes curvies, but never fat. I was not very comfortable making fat Sims, I was not sure how tbh. And this challenge really challenged me. It helped me realize and see how beautiful fat bodies are, bodies with stretch marks, with cellulitis, love handles, among other things. Those things that are so common but makes us so uncomfortable.

Thanks to this challenge I love myself a bit more everyday and I accept and I embrace my cellulitis, my belly and my stretch marks.

I will continue creating fat, chubby Sims and I encourage you all to do the same, step out of your comfort zone a little. It will help you, you will learn and have fun.

Please, just remember: ALL BODIES ARE BEAUTIFUL!

\ Behold! Sims for @simussy ‘s Bachelor Challenge!! \

I’m so sorry it took me this long! I’ve been so busy and uninspired lately!!

I also can’t seem to get my custom plus size presets to work 😭 but I still made them as chubby as I could! I hope you like them!! These 4 were all I could do before my game started threatening to crash :( I didn’t even have time to put in the correct pronouns for them, I’m so sorry!

Iris Valencia(She/Her) - She’s a bubbly entomologist that loves taking pictures of ANY bugs she can find, even really really reallyyyy tiny ones! She’s very outgoing (but doesnt have the trait!) and apreciates a good, calm, deep conversation near the fireplace with good company.

Augustus Bonilla(He/They) - He’s the type of guy to pack more books than clothes when he goes travelling, and then buys more books wherever they go. They’re in the process of writting his own novel! But it’s more of a side project at this point in time.

Alfonso Samuel(He/Him) - Al’s been on a serious supernatural hunt for about a year now, and his hunt has lead him to Henford. He’s addament on finding this ghost and exorcising it, but he’s not one to pass up a few flirtatious escapades along the way!

Tammy Campos(They/Them) -  Tammy was living a good life, a regular old life... and then one day they said ‘Screw it’ and hiked off into the night with only a couple pieces on clothing and a backpack (that they have since lost). They’re a runaway, but the only person they’re running from is their past self. And they’re doing a heck of a good job at it!

(Also! Iris has a bug tattoo!! It’s on the arm that doesn’t show in the picture :P girlie really couldn’t look the other way for 2 seconds for me to take the photo)

i’m starting @simussy’s bumblebae lookbook challenge!! 

it’s all about spreading self love to our fat sims, and ourselves too ofc. i am fat irl and do NOT see enough fat sims, in my own game included!! 

i was going to make a new sim for every outfit but i made Jewels and fell in love with her!! i spent like 3hrs today putting together every single outfit, it was so much fun!! 

i challenged myself to use cc that i already had in my game, and not to dl any new stuff! it was a bit tough in some of the categories but we got there in the end

i hope u enjoy this lil series and that it encourages you to make more fat simmies to ur games!

Arlene Beckett

...Heard that Toby Santana @simussy was looking for love and companionship. Was it the look in his eye that drew her in? Or was the thrill of the idea that her Lifetime movie dreams could come true. I mean, who would pass up: 1.) a cute guy, 2.) a bed and breakfast, 3.) a man with goals of being an artist, (which could be financially troublesome). See that? The chick flick trifecta! ...At least, in Arlene’s mind.

Arlene is many things, but a photographer she is not... As evidenced by her inability to remember to wipe her phone’s camera lens before taking any selfies. But these? Oh yes, these are the ones she’s going to submit to Toby for consideration. They show who she is -- a cute, goofy girl who cares more about getting a submission in on time than wiping the melted chocolate off of her phone.

Arlene is looking for a change of pace. (We’ve all been there.) She’s not sure what she’d like to do with her life yet... Should she pursue some animal rights activism beyond her vegetarianism? Could she see herself outside all day, helping Toby harvest those pumpkins? She sure loves the outdoors! Or maybe she’ll write her own romance novel, embellished by her experience in this bachelor(ette) challenge? She enjoys reading a good book, and is sure that there could be some money to be made from inquiring minds that will be watching the challenge unfold.

In her heart of hearts, Arlene just wants to find someone to eat junk food with, laugh with, and relish in a day spent with a lover who is also her BFF. It’s just an added bonus if all of her Lifetime movie aspirations come to fruition!
