Tugging on Loose Ends
The memory of that moment wouldn't leave his mind. The feeling wouldn't brush off of his chest, shoulders, or back. He reached up and gently touched his cheek. There was a stormy mix of emotions shifting nonstop within him like a tornado; different feelings coming and going, being uprooted from down below and flung around, eventually descending back down only to be brought back up moments later. Would he ever go back to Light Labs again after that? It would be awkward if he did. Well, to him at least. To Dr. Light, the warm words lingered, the image of that sweet, cotton-clouded smile stuck in his head. What he said kept echoing in Blues' mind like a broken record deep within a massive cave. "You're always welcome home, son." ...Home. Now there's one place he hasn't been to in a long time. It didn't even feel like home to him either. But the thoughts lingered still. It was another typical night at Light Labs, the little house just outside of the city and close to the woods. It was a perfect environment for raising children. That's where Rock and Roll come in. Roll had just finished helping Dr. Light clean the lab after a long day of experimental robotic tests. That same day, Rock was helping Guts Man, Hard Man, and Bomb Man at the construction site. That evening, Roll heard the front door open and shut, indicating to her that her brother was home. She excitedly scurried to the kitchen to welcome him home. "Welcome home, Rock! How was the-- Oh...!" She halted cautiously at the doorway that divided the living room from the kitchen when she saw Rock limping with his arm over another robot's shoulder. "I slipped when I was leaving the site and twisted my ankle," Rock explained to his now worried twin, "Luckily, Proto Man was there to help me get home." Proto Man himself turned to the little blond with a somewhat firm expression, one just like a protective big brother would have that said without saying; "I'm only doing what I am to protect you." This made Roll get somewhat tense. Not in nervousness, but in understanding. "Roll?" Dr. Light called for her as he walked in, "What's going...! Rock, what happened!?" "I-It's okay, Dr. Light!" He recapped, "I just slipped and hurt my ankle, that's all." "Let me help you," the scientist offered with his arms out for him. Rock slowly and carefully let go of Proto Man and tripped into his father's arms. He was heavy, but Dr. Light could care less. Using as much strength as he could, he lifted his son up and gently carried him into the living room to carefully rest him on the couch. "Are you okay, Dr. Light?" Rock asked in concern as Dr. Light caught his breath. "Don't worry about me," Dr. Light assured him with a smile, "Roll, please fetch me a hot towel." "Already on it, Dr. Light!" Roll replied as she was seen scampering from the closet in the hallway to the bathroom with a white towel draped over her elbow. Proto Man took off his helmet and sat next to Rock on the floor, leaning in to whisper in his ear, "Dad treats you like a freakin' prince. I don't think he would ever carry a 230-pound robot like me like that." Rock looked at him with a stern look on his face and a determined twinkle in his eyes, "Of course he would!" He whispered in an argumentative tone, "He's YOUR dad too, ya know!" "Blues?" The Santa-Clause look-a-like said in a gentle, fatherly tone, "Are you thirsty?" The robot in red got tense. Suddenly HE was his target of attention? Just then, Roll came in with a damp folded towel, gently placing it on Rock's bare ankle. Rock thanked his caring sister and turned to Blues; "Go on." Swallowing hard as a stone, Proto Man stood up and followed Dr. Light into the kitchen. He anxiously held his yellow scarf like a guardian's hand as his father (if he could thoroughly call him that) opened the fridge and grabbed a full E-Tank from a drawer near the bottom. The sight of the full, unopened container made Proto Man lick his lips in anticipation. For him, full E-Tanks like that were hard to come by. He pulled up a chair and sat at the table as Dr. Light opened the container and placed a straw in through the hole in the top before placing it on the table on a coaster in front of his eldest son. His shade-covered eyes never left the blue can. Dr. Light sat in a chair beside him. Blues immediately took the straw out and placed it on the coaster. He took the E-Tank and began to chug it like he hadn't had one in ages. Which in this case, was understandably true. Still, Dr. Light worried. "Slow down, son!" He told him in concern, "You'll overwhelm your systems!" Blues wasn't listening. He was too busy savoring every last gulp. It wasn't long before Blues took one final slurp and put the completely-empty container down. He sighed contently before a hearty burp escaped his lips. His cheeks turned pink from that. "S'cuse me." He mumbled, holding his stomach. Dr. Light couldn't help but chuckle. He really was his father's son. "You are excused," he giggled, "Now, if you don't mind, may I ask you something?" Proto Man shrugged. Dr. Light looked to him with sincerity, "Every time you come over, you always seem like you don't want to be here. But the only reason why you DO is because of Rock and Roll." Blues seemed to refuse making eye contact. "What can you tell me about that?" Blues fiddled with the straw he left out of his drink, "Well... don't get me wrong, it's not like I like him that much. ...But Roll's different. She seems to understand me the most 'n' that's why I like her. But Rock..." he paused a bit, swallowing hard again, "I-I'm sorry." Dr. Light's concern grew. Was Blues about to cry? It sounded like it, but he wasn't exactly sure. "Rock..." he continued, "A-All he wants... is to be my brother. I-I don't know why I always turn that down whenever he brings it up, but I just do. I... I'm a horrible person." "N-No, you're not!" Dr. Light choked, scooting closer to his son, "You're just not ready to decide yet. THAT's why you keep turning him down. That's also why he keeps asking you; he wonders if you've made up your mind yet." Blues said nothing. Dr. Light was struck with awe when he noticed tears running down Blues' cheeks, but he quickly dried them off with his scarf to prevent Dr. Light from worrying, even if he was too late. "I-I still haven't," he coughed, "I just... I feel torn apart about this." "I know," his father said softly. He gently cupped his cheek in one hand and brushed away a tear with his thumb, "But never forget this; You're always welcome home, son." He smiled kindly, fatherly, even lovingly past the white fluff that clouded his face. Blues was still as a statue. He waited until Dr. Light removed his hand, his fingers gently grazing his son's jawline as they left, before he slowly sat up and reapplied his helmet. "I have to go," he mumbled, "I shouldn't stay here for too long." "Allow me to see you out," Dr. LIGHT offered as he stood up too. "...Fine." As Rock and Roll whispered to each other about Blues and Dr. Light's little chat, the other two walked out to the front gate that separated the yard from the sidewalk and street. "Before you go," Dr. Light said as he placed a hand on Blues' shoulder, "there's one more thing I have to say." "Make it quick then," he replied, "Dr. LaLinde won't be waiting all night." Without warning, Dr. Light knelt down and wrapped his arms around Blues in a firm yet warm hug. This took him by surprise. "H-Hey! What are you...!?" Dr. Light snuggled closer, their cheeks practically sandwiched together as his beard lightly tickled Blues' neck. Dr. Light whispered something. "I love you so much." Blues was breathless. He was frozen in the moment. With hesitation, he carefully wrapped his arms back around his father's neck. At first, it was foreign to him. But after a few seconds, he sunk into the warm embrace. It's been so long since he felt something like this. It felt different, yet familiar. It was out of context, but... nice. Really, really nice. The two of them FINALLY and simultaneously let go of each other, not making eye contact. Dr. Light looked at the scarf, Blues looked to the stars. After a moment of silence, save for the crickets and gentle night breeze, Blues turned back to Dr. Light over his shoulder. "Good Night, Doctor," he bid him farewell, "Don't forget to ask Rock about my core." And without another word, he was gone in a flash. "...Ask Rock about his core...?" Dr. Light repeated in confusion, "Whatever could that mean?" With that reminder embedded in his mind, he went back inside for the night. Now, Blues was spending the night at the LaLinde residence, his place to sleep being the couch. He laid there under a thick blanket, his thoughts not leaving him alone. What Dr. Light said to him never left his memory software. "You're always welcome home, son." "...Home," he whispered. Deciding to sleep with that, he grabbed a spare pillow from the closet, the biggest, softest, fluffiest pillow he could find, and tucked himself back in with the pillow by his side. He turned to the pillow and wrapped his arms around it. He buried half of his face into it and sighed contently. He kind of wished pillows could snuggle back. With the memory of that night lingering in his head, he faded into sleep mode in a calm state of security.
Cold winter nights.
Author’s Note: Ok so I have so much time on my hands, i thought why not write a fluff-fiction for MC and Seven?
Maybe try my hand some implied NSFW????
Inspired by my need for cuddles~~ Spoilers: small spoilers for unknown and Luciel’s many names/maid ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ It was a cold evening in the house of the Choi’s, (Name) and Vanderwood. Yes, Vanderwood lived here now too.
“(Name), I’m leaving now, Saeyoung is late, huh.” Saeran asked dry. “Mhm. I’m fine.” The brunette replied. “You’re beneeth 5 blankets and somehow still shivvering.” He said dry. She giggled before nodding in reply, “really, i’ll be okay!” He rolled his eyes before finally exiting the house. Vanderwood was out aswell, so, (Name) was alone in a mansion like building.
After a few minutes a familliar voice halled through. “Heeelllllloooooo~ (name),” Saeyoung sang, he appeared in the doorway of the livingroom smiling. “Ah, here’s my beautiful girl~” He purred. He wrapped his arms around her upper body half, digging his head into the crook of her neck.
“Say, you took longer today, something come up?” Instead of receiving an awnser she received a small peck on the lips before her fiancee removed the blankets and joined her. “Ngh…Saeyoung you’re really warm!” No reply. “Sae…young?” He looked up into his future wife’s eyes and opened his mouth,
“I tried kidnapping Elly but Jumin caught me~!”
She blinked before sighing annoyed and pushing him away, “SAEYOUNG I THOUGHT SOMETHING SERIOUS HAPPENED.”
The gap between them didn’t last long, for (name) was freezing and her fiance wasn’t.
“Are you cold?” “Yeah…” A somewhat sadistic and devilish smirk formed on saeyoung’s lips.
“Then let me make you hot.” (Name)’s face heated up as Saeyoung’s fingers traced her lips and cheekbone.
As he closed the gap between them her arms wrapped around his neck, and she deepend the kiss.
The kiss developed into a makeout session, and after releasing (name) was trying to receive oxygen quietly.
“You…dirty…sinner…” She huffed. Saeyoung chuckled as he abused her sweet spot while caressing her hips gently.

whos your favorite op naruto and bleach characters
Ahhh, thank you for the question! I love talking about the characters! This was so hard because there are so many people I like!
Bleach: My favorite character is obviously Kenpachi lol. I also looooove Neliel! Rukia, Yoruichi, and Rangiku are also nice. I didn’t really like Toshiro at first. His immaturity really irritated me. He’s cool now though. (See what I did there? Huh? Huh?) I don’t dislike Momo but I don’t like her either. I also didn’t like Zommari. He really needed to chill.
One Piece: This is so hard because there are sooooo many characters I adore! Kid is one of my ultimate’s. I don’t know why, so don’t ask, but he’s just so angry and mad and I want to hug him, ask him who hurt him, and tell him it’s okay. Zoro is one of my fav’s, as well as Robin and Marco. I can’t think of anyone I dislike right now..
Naruto: This one is hard too. Gaara would probably be my favorite character. And Neji! I also really like Hinata, Temari, and Rock Lee! I didn’t really like Obito tbh..
It takes a lot for me to dislike someone so there’s not many characters I don’t like.
What’s some of you guys’ favorite characters??
