Teirdya | Well Talk
My true thoughts on my friends and the Dawnwell?
You know what you’re asking, Lor’themar; you’re not stupid.
Alright then. I’d prefer no wells. But they fixed it, didn’t they? If we’re going to have one, this is the best we can get.
You want more. Well, you can’t make an omelette without breaking a few eggs. And sometimes, you’re just hungry and rummaging around the kitchen and you break a few eggs at random, and then you realise, oh, one can make an omelette with that. Doesn’t make the omelette bad.
Your look!
Frank then. This well is better than any we’ve ever had. And yes, I know what I’m saying, too. I mean “ever”. Conquering happens; we’ve done it plenty ourselves. The flaws in what we had were exposed plenty of times, and now thanks to them we’ve got a much better one in a roundabout way. Now can we just all be happy and stop all the memorial sulking and enjoy what we’ve got?
Go Back

"We've been over this, Shithead." Reasoning with the beast wasn't possible, and if people saw him talking to himself again... well, the nobility was relatively accepting of the Illidari - as accepting as his people could swallow being; but talking to oneself in public... especially at night? - is always frowned upon. But it felt weirder somehow, to only converse in his own head? There was no winning, with sharing one's body, really. He knew what the damned thing meant, though. Didn't like that it felt the same way he did - but then, how much of WANT was him, and how much was it, anymore, really?
He hadn't meant to take charge, and start handing down direction, but... his own sister had just come 'back from the dead' so recently. Years... years of thinking she'd been dead - thinking it was his fault. That he shouldn't have become Illidari, because at least then he'd have died with her. She wouldn't have died alone, and cold and lost in a land she didn't know. It's just what you do, as the eldest - and as a big brother. You give your little sister room to grow, and fail and learn - but you're there when it matters.
Their Prince had split them. One, a renowned Spellbreaker to join the Illidari. One, a prodigal Magistrix to go on the mission to 'defeat' the Lich King. They were supposed to be doing the family name, and Quel'thalas, proud - it wasn't supposed to end how it had - because the Prince hadn't returned from that trip with anyone who had left with him.
Amoreandorin had been too far along, too deep in becoming Illidari at the time - and in a way, losing his eyes had been a boon... no more crying - only fury, pain, and rage to fuel him. The pain of losing his little sister... his one real responsibility in life... this person who'd spent her whole life looking up to him... on top of the defeat and rape of Quel'thals by Arthas. It had all been so heavy, back then.
The Magistrix had hit a chord that was already tender - Vynamue had reconnected recently. She'd come back from the dead, in her own way - even without his eyes, he'd known her just from... something. His gut. He'd seen that magical signature, then he'd heard her voice - all these years later, he knew it. Knew her.
She'd been enslaved to the Lich King, at first... and if the fucking Kaldorei hadn't imprisoned him... he could have gone to her, back then. Could have looked for her. Saved her, brought her home sooner... instead, he'd sat in fucking stasis thinking about how it was his fault she was dead, now... and his family line would be wiped out. His mother would be alone in the world, having lost everyone.
By the time he was back in the world, among the people... so much had happened that she had long since been presumed dead - and something in him wanted to remind this blushing Magistrix how... precious that is. Not just anyone gets a second chance to kick ass - but she's among those special few.

Even thinking about her sets the dog to barking.
"Can we not do this right now? I'm the boss, remember? We don't do what you want - fuck off." But if he was honest with himself, he needed to hit a portal to the current Void assault - put his blades to work, and feed the damn dog before it did decide it was the boss.
Finally got around to getting the face mask I wanted. The fit is coming together! I'm just wanting some new boots for him!
I have my eye on the cloth boots from Mythic Arberrus, but other options might be in mind.
sketches :]
(Art was a physical irl commission I got at a local art faire!)
Thought I should share some belf OCs here. This is Selanaris! He's one of my oldest OCs in general. I have plenty more art of him, but I often can't remember who to credit for the art since I collect so many.
(These are done by some personal friends of mine!)
Selanaris is an Arcane Mage and will go out of his way to flaunt himself as better than any other type of mage. Even if he is wrong. He was born of a family of Farstriders, but he went his own path to become a magister. Was involved with all the main character points from TBC to now (that's how long I've had the character)
His family were nobles who often preferred physical skills over magical skills. Selanaris got out of a lot of noble duties with his older brother taking that responsibility and him often pairing himself with the upper status of Silvermoon and Dalaran. His brother went missing on Outland, and family roles went to him, to which he continued doing work and saving the world to avoid going home and dealing with that.
He is known to be dramatic and sometimes a little mean, but he always does what needs to be done to save people. Even if he will complain about it later. With prolonged exposure to him, you learn he is a bit of a trickster because what's the fun in magic if not for a few harmless pranks.
There is much more, but this is a good start!
Broke down and made myself a sin'dorei Paladin. He's so damn fine. Blood elves have always been my weakness.
(Theres a fem version too)
There are SO many alterhuman flags out there; It is wonderful. You know what's not wonderful? Not a SINGLE Blood Elf/Sin'dorei alterhuman flag. Not ONE.
Never fear! The sin'dorei alterhuman pride flag is here!
Somebody pat me on the back. I think these came out so regal and lovely.
The stripes are red, blue and sunlight yellow, and do not have unique meanings from top to bottom (Aka one blue does not have a different meaning from the other).
The red stripe represents the blood of our fallen taken from us by the scourge, and the passion for survival and perseverance our people have.
The blue represents magic, particularly arcane magic, as well as fierce loyalty to our own people.
The yellow represents the sunwell, our diurnal nature and our alignment with the Light.
I hope other sin'dorei will see this flag and enjoy it, as well as reach out! Sometimes I feel like the only one on this planet, but I know that's not true, and even if it is, engagement from fellow elves would be reassuring enough :)
For Quel'Thalas 🙏 okay bye
Also give me moodboard or post ideas I wanna get back into itttt
