OH HIIII for one I was heavily inspired by your playersona for Rez's design!! I loove your stuff with Steven its so peak. As for lore, nnnnot much?? Rez (not her actual name, but she can't remember that anymore) was someone just passing through town, and suffered some horrible disfiguring accident from WHATEVER crazy shit crossed her path in Boon County that killed her instantly. And then ofc Dr. Beanies finds her corpse and decides "AH YES PERFECT TIME FOR SCIENCE!!"
Misc notes:
-Rez can talk to and understand her kitties. This doesn't help the 'crazy cat lady' stereotype when she's seen having full conversations with them
-When she's out on adventures with the cats, Rez doesn't usually do any fighting herself (gotta give orders!) but always has a shotgun with her in case of 'emergencies'
-Autism displays in a need to touch things to understand them. Even if it grosses her out or is uncomfortable, she gotta touch!! (so long as its relatively safe)
-Has amnesia, cannot remember who she was or what she fully looked like before waking up in the Lab. This is usually fine but will occasionally have episodes of breaking mirrors and clawing at her stitches/staples on her face and chest in mental spirals until she tires herself out or injures herself too much and passes out. That's when Mystery, the Cleric kitty I oft draw Rez with, has to come in and heal her back up. Because neither of them like going back to the Lab unless absolutely necessary.
